Great food, dessert, and service. The Calamari was soft. The Gnocchi was perfect, soft on the inside slightly crisp on the outside. The staff are cool. The location is great, with a nice view of the port and George's island.

The service and the restaurant are lovely and ideally located in Halifax with a beautiful view of the waterfront.Now the food...we ordered some fried calamari that were arrived on the table barely warm and soggy from all the sauce. The calamari was still full of cartilage.The main was barely okay, the flavours were lackluster and for the price, I was expecting a lot more.The dessert was the worst, the tiramisu had no coffee or any type of liquor in it and was made with cream cheese. It wasn’t Italian in any way, shape or form. It was just some overly sweet stodgy cake with some cream cheese filling. The PC brand tiramisu from the supermarket tastes better.The bread was the only saving grace, it was obviously homemade and delicious.I do hope the food quality improves in the future because it is a lovely place.

We had a great dinner experience at café Chianti, the atmosphere was fabulous right on the water. The seafood linguine was too notch and our server Maddie was so lovely!!

Delicious food, but I felt like the food was pre-cooked and reheated to cut down on wait time. No juicyness. Waitress was attentive, decor not to my liking... slightly ornate.

Very nice atmosphere and delicious food. We bought a Groupon for $100 worth of food and drink for $60. This made our night even better by saving a few bucks. I'd definitely recommend the restaurant with or without the Groupon.

Love the new waterfront location near the boardwalk! Staff was super nice but we felt like we may have been forgotten about as our meal lasted 3.5 hours from start of reservation to when we finally paid. It was a steady night and we were catching up with a friend in town visiting but it even took 20-30 minutes for our bills to come once we requested them. Food was tasty.

We love this place! The new location is superb. The decor creates a beautiful atmosphere. The service is excellent, Kristy attended to our every need and is so professional and thoughtful. The Caesar salad is the best in town and our steak was cooked beautifully, so tender and tasty. The tables are well set out and private. One of our favourite places to eat in town, it never disappoints. We will be back soon. Thank you for a memorable evening.

Great atmosphere, and the service was spot on. The waitress was friendly and made sure everything was going smoothly. The quality of the food was excellent. The filet just melts in your mouth. I would recommend getting the seafood linguine with marinara sauce. However, I found the pizza a little lackluster.
