Located just across the portage bridge so under 2 minute drive from Ottawa. You can walk as well ……Not a lot of events happening here since covid. This place used to be much busier when the government workers were still working at office. Now, it’s pretty much like a ghost town expect occasional exhibits or shows happen on the top floor.Food court : well, our beloved government workers have not gone back to work so most places are closed even during week including this food court as it is adjustment to portage 3 buildings. On weekends , all food court stalls are closed despite the on going events so kinda inconvenient.Parking is underground, $5/ every 30 minutes or max $15 for the day. Weekends is flat rate of $5. Great if you want indoor parking. But if you are frugal, park on street as weekend street parkings are ALL FREE on streets with meters.

Very well organized, nice staff! Everything around the building is eye catching. Close to the beautiful Canadian Museum of History.

All the people ans staff were super nice and helpful. We went for a dance competition so we didn't see the whole building but the parts we did see were kept clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend for and social gatherings

The entrance is absolutely horrid - an elevator in a dark, noisy, dirty parking garage. The main ballroom is fine but the areas outside the room for pre-evevt gatherings is not suitable for even moderately sized crowds as it is too narrow and there is no seating whatsoever in this area. And the entire facility has no windows - none - adding to the dreariness. The bar uses a senseless coupon system requiring guests to line up twice, once for coupons, and once for drinks. They both also solicit tips.Gatineau needs to step up it's game in a big way.

We attended the annual Francophone book fair last weekend. It was busy and vibrant, with many families and children. It is convenient to park in the Maison du Citoyen garage (free on weekends), and take the pedestrian skyway to the Palais du Congres.

Very difficult to find and hard to find parking. Otherwise the place is pretty nice. If you have an event there please be sure to give good directions.
