Friendly service & delicious meal. Crispy pork chops were huge size and very juicy. Beef baked rice with black pepper sauce was tasty. Beef brisket soup noodle kwai lam" style had lots of tomatoes & pickled veggies

Food is okay: it's what you expect in a hk diner but those fries were amazing. Everything else was eh. I love that it's a traditional hk diner, none of the frilly fancy stuff like expensive Christmas dinners on the menu. It's 3* because it's alright. I recommend it as a goto place where you don't need to dress up but it's not somewhere aesthetic or a place for a date.I got the special combo 特餐 B $12.99. Love the fries! Wish there were more lolEDIT: I loved their French toast 西多士！So much butter and it was very thick! Their mushroom and chicken noodle were also great, although a little smaller portion than I thought.I def recommend this place for a quick bite.

Despite the reviews, I actually found this place to be very good! The teppan/ hot plate sirloin with black pepper sauce was really good. Steak was done right as requested (medium rare), they serve you a LOT of sauce poured table side and the fries were served on the side which I appreciate. It was very tasty overall and a great value. Soup (borscht was really tasty and had meat pieces which were a surprise!), warm dinner bun, fruit salad and a hot drink were included. Cold drinks were a $1 upcharge but it was bigger sized compared to other cha chan tangs.Service was good as well. They did open up a napkin for me to brace the splashing grease from the hot plate which was a surprise and much appreciated! Will definitely come back.

Food is pretty decent and so is the atmosphere, pricing and service. Overall pretty good but nothing spectacular, if you're just looking for a regular lunch thats decently priced, this is a pretty good place to go. I went around lunch time on a Friday and there were seats available which is a plus.

Late dine in. Very affordable price. Service is very good, they ain't over attentive, but fast, accurate. Food portion is not big, just right with the menu price charged. Not a busy place, quiet, no loud music.

If you are just looking for great food portion, this is the place to go. Huge breakfast portion that can last your tummy full for the whole day. Food is also inexpensive comparing to other restaurants.

Very big portions at a very good price. Food tasted excellent. Cold milk tea and lemon tea portions were also very large.Edit 09/24/22: Reduced my original rating because this restaurant tried to cheat us money without us knowing. Ordered the combo for two for $30 but they tried to charge us $33. We brought this discrepancy up to the cashier and asked why the 時菜班球 was so expensive, and all they said was that they made a mistake in their calculationEdit 06/16/2023: Food still inexpensive for the portion. Great milk tea and lemon tea size cups. But, very few servers. To make matters worse, servers seem to have more time chatting with customers instead of bringing us the bill. Despite this, I will raise my rating to 3/5.

Went to Toronto to visit friends and came to Ming’s restaurant! Friendly and quick service! The portions are on the larger side. Their HK milk tea was on par to the HK cafes in HK and in Vancouver! The baked dish was absolutely delicious and I finished it all in one sitting!! I don’t normally eat pork, but their pork chops were yummy and fresh. My friend ordered the noodles in soup and she said it was super tasty! Wish I had more time in Toronto to come back and try other dishes from their menu. Will definitely recommend to friends when they go to Toronto and I will definitely come back again!P.S. - their AC was so nice.

Decent HK style cafe food. Opens early.Big portions, good flavours.Free newspaper per table while quantities last.Service was good, just one lady was rude and unhappy.
