I can’t say enough good things about The Visiting Vet. I have owned pets my entire life and have never experienced the level of personalized service that I do with Dr. Royston What truly makes her the best vet I’ve ever had is her knowledge and level of compassion and empathy. This is someone who has a passion for animals and who followed her passion when she chose her career. This is not just a job for her and the level of care she provides is next level. I don’t know what we would do without her and I’m so grateful that this service exists in the Okanagan. You will never regret choosing Dr. Royston. Thank you for the loving care you have always given to our pets/family members.

My wife and I met Dr. Royston for the first time on Friday when we were forced to put our 4 year old much loved cat to sleep.Stephanie was patient , kind and compassionate , her calming presence was an immense help to us both. We thank her for her kindness and would highly recommend her services.

I left two messages in two days in November for a health check visit for my aging dog who also had an ailment..she never connected with me for a consult or appointment. Fast forward to February where my husband left her a call back number and I left detailed message that I'm reaching out to her again with situation now worsening where we need end of life care. That was on a Friday and no call back Monday or Tuesday on either of our phones so we had no choice but to take our beloved pet for what was a very stressful last ride to put her down. If she was too busy for goodness sake at least call people back or get some help running the business end of things. Super not impressed with what seems like indifference to the customer.

Dr. Steph was amazing looking after our 23 year old cat. Her service was beyond expectations. She is very caring and compassionate and I highly recommend her. She was so great when we had to say goodbye to our beautiful girl. Couldn't have gotten through that without her. Thank you we are so grateful.

I will never go to this vet again. I do not recommend. Wearing a mask 3 years post covid was the first sign we are not living in the same lane of critical thinking and research. It all went downhill from there. I can’t get into further details as it was too traumatic. Lesson for others: ask to meet the Vet in person before planning an at home euthanasia for your pet. Get a feel for who they are and inquire if they are on the same page as you. One of the saddest and most important moments of your life should bring a level of dignity, safety and warmth to your experience.

Dr. Royston was so compassionate when we had to put our handsome pup down recently. Her caring demeanor helped us a lot as we dealt with a very difficult decision. I would highly recommend her to anyone having to make the very tough decision to end your pet’s life. Thank you so much.

I highly recommend the visiting vet. She has came to our place a couple times, once to put down our dog. She was so sympathetic, patient and delicate with the situation. No pet wants their last moments to be in a veterinary office. I’m so grateful for this service and I’d never do it any other way.Our other dog appreciated not being dragged into the vet for his physical check up. Very comparable prices with other vets. The small travel fee is worth every penny. Dr Royston is amazing.

Dr. Royston is a very caring person. We have used her services ever since she bought the company. She is very careful with our dog. Generally doesn't spend a lot of time on her phone, and if she needs to answer a call asks if it's ok. All in all, couldn't ask for more! Very happy!
