Dog Shop Bathouse & Boutique the

We had our dog at a kennel for a few days and needed a spot to give him a bath after we picked him up. Came across this quaint dog store and spa and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised. They had mild shampoos that smelled great! Lush towels tp dry the dog in their DIY wash bay. The had a basket by tge tub with brushes, wipes, scented dog sprays etc. To finish the spa day. They offered a large dryer tp dry the dog. Was only $23. Well worth it!

This is a great little boutique pet shop. We've purchased treats and toys here for our girl and they've always gone over really well - they sell great quality stuff! While we groom her at home, the set up of this place definitely has a dog's experience in mind. Really thoughtfully laid out with some of those small touches that can mean so much to our four legged family members! Also love that they showcase paintings for a local artist that specializes in custom pet portraits! If you've never been, it's a great little place to check out.

Looked this shop up on the internet - it said OPEN, August 10, 1022so I packed up the dog and headed down to Mahone Bay fromChester. I arrived and at 1:30 p.m. and it was CLOSED. They oweme one.

Very rude staff, it’s a dog boutique yet have very specific instructions for how close your dog needs to be to you even though their on a leash no other dogs in the store and behaving very well… cant help but think it was because my dog was not a fluffy or purebred poodle. Do not reccomend will never go again

Having our dog groomed for the first time was a stressful situation. The groomers were very professional, and didn't overwhelm our pup with too much stimulation. Great job grooming him. He looked great, and was proud to strut his new do.

Jake had the most enjoyable puppy spa day here which will be his first of many. The staff are first class and the products and offerings are well priced. Highly recommend this facility if you are even visiting and want to take home some treats.

Was really hoping to see what this place was all about. Have been living in Mahone bay for a couple years now. Tried calling id say five times during open hours, and ended up going in store. Got there and there was a younger girl standing at the front desk. Was already a bit furious but still kind and respectful to the employees, asked about grooming and a price for a border collie. The only thing I got for a reply was that they’re not taking any new clients. Was not told when they would be or why they aren’t. That was at the start of summer. Today is October 7 just tried calling twice just to find out if they are taking in any new clients. Did not answer the phone..

The ladies at the dog shop take care of Michonne with patience and caring. Really appreciate the service we get with them. My dog is a big German Shepherd with attitude, and they have no problem controlling her. Really don't know how they do it.

My dog loves going here for nail trims! She has gained so much confidence and now walks right in! (She's a skittish stray rescue) They treat her so well here. Love this place!

Our visit in with one difficult Corgi whose nails are very difficult to trim at home.The atmosphere inside was welcoming, bright and full of cute toys and local treats, coffee (which I just made a cup and it's soo good).I was surprised to see a couple of Goober dog collars which are the ones we sport.The staff are friendly, and I think they lied about how much a good boy" our fur child was getting his nails done. Jkin!We will be returning customers and thank you for a sass free nail trimming. See you next time!"
