My favorite barbershop! Whenever I visit Halifax from Switzerland I make sure to get a haircut and an old fashioned hot towel shave. Super customer service, friendly barbers who know what they do, cool and stylish shop!

I was visiting Halifax and needed a hair cut. I walked in to Sailor Bups and asked if they did walk-ins. Alex hooked me up and gave me a great hair cut including a hot foam and straight razor on my neck. The atmosphere and decor were awesome. When I visit again I'll definitely go back.

The day before coming here I got a haircut at a different shop and after leaving I could feel that the length was inconsistent and annoying. The following day I was walking by and asked if the staff of Sailor Bup's would even it out for me.Alex welcomed me and took 6 minutes to clean up the missed hairs. He was kind, funny and did a fantastic job. On top of that, he didn't charge for his services.I will be returning here for future haircuts and can highly recommend this location.

Went in yesterday and Mark was awesome. Had to correct a haircut that I got a week before without losing any length - he listened to everything and nailed it. Chill space with great tunes and a nice vibe, I’ll be making this my regular.

Tried numerous Barbershops when I first moved to Halifax, and Sailor Bup's was the hands down winner.Mark suggested a slight change to what I asked for which looked great - haven't looked back since!

I had my long hair cut by Mark, he did a great job. If you are a woman needing a straightforward hair cut for a reasonable price ($35) this is the place to go. They were busy when I was there, always a good sign. Now that TopCuts in the Vertu has closed, this is my new place to go. Loved the decor too.
