To whom it may concern , I have recently purchased a compound from Cabela's Moncton New Brunswick Canada in February 2016. I noticed the serving on the string was frayed near the lower cam. After bringing it to Cabella's, Moncton, I was greeted by a late bow technician who was rude and outspoken. Before seeing the bow, he was telling me that I needed a new serving for my D-loop when I needed new serving on the string for my lower cam. After him visually seeing it, he agreed and said I needed a new string. He changed the string in store, and after changing I noticed he used crossbow limb lube on the serving of the string that runs over the cams. In doing this, I am aware that this weakens the string and will cause string failure. It is evident that this bow technician was not trained properly to do his job and now my bow is a ticking time bomb. This could cause a potentially dangerous or fatal accident due to Cabelas employees lack of training. Not to mention the fact that I will have to purchase yet another string to fix the issue and to ease my mind while drawing the bow back. Thanks MC

Cabela's was the worst online shopping experience I ever had. I ordered a Reliance portable toilet on June 15th for store pickup as it showed 22 in stock. After not hearing anything I callled and they said there was no stock so she MADE me cancel my order. I had the order reinstated when I called back to say I wanted to wait for the item to come in as it was on sale. Upon calling a few days later, a gentleman told me 1000 were coming in at the end of June so I waited. I called back after, once again, not hearing anything. The girl said we just got them in, I will rush your order . Never heard anything so called back and was told they had 800 in stock and once again, get my order rushed as I was waiting a long time. 5 days later on July 15th I called again (of course, because I didn't hear anything) AND.....SURPRISE...they have no stock and now it shows unavailable.I cancelled my order and will not use Cabela's online shopping again. Ridiculous !!!

Absolute worst customer service ever. Website won't accept my card so I call customer service only to be sent to the post office to get something to make a special payment to Cabela's but Canada Post has no clue what that this product is. So I spent time to go down to the post-office lineup waste hours of my time while I'm in pain. I call again only to be told that the customer service rep told me the wrong thing. So I could go back out and buy a Visa card because even though they accept the card that I have in stores they refuse to take it online or over-the-phone. Then I asked to speak to a manager but guess what nobody calls me. So I called back and the customer service representative ask me to repeat the whole story. I said what for when you must have notes in your system he said no they didn't. So I waste more time we're talkin the third customer service rep I've talked to now. And I say I want to speak to a manager because it has been two days because it was 2 days and a manager was supposed to get back to me. The customer service rep then tells me well according to the notes it's only been a day. So basically he lied about the notes made me waste more timeand there was absolutely no I'm sorry that you've gone through this that you've wasted so much time that you're jumping through all these hoops to buy a product from our store. Zero customer service skills whatsoever. So now I'm supposed to wait another two days. Do these people actually want you to buy from their stores because I don't think I've ever experienced anything so ridiculous in my life in regards to a store and how they treat their customers. Oh wait not a customer because they are making it impossible to buy their goods how are these people in business. And with a little online searching it turns out that this is how they operate in general. Would give 0 Stars if I could.

I ordered a fleece jacket online to a PO box two weeks passed and I check with customer service and they tell me that the COMPUTER made a mistake and should have sent my parcel by Canada post Debbie assured me that she would ask UPS to deliver the parcel to my home address so almost a month after I place my order i get a note from UPS saying that they had a request to send the parcel back to Cabela's Debbie tell me that they phoned and sent emailS to UPS to change my shipping address, now the are totally out of the fleece that I ordered and they will not send me the fleece that UPS returned to them, I fell they lied to me a few times and the customer service is totally the worst ever, I asked that a customer service manager phone me they said sure and checked if my phone number they had a on file was good, it was good but I never received the call. the computer made the first mistake and UPS refused to change the delivery address, not a fan anymore of Cabelas

I just phoned the Winnipeg headquarters to see if Nanaimo B.C. had a article that I was interested in.Well Nanaimo does not have it in stock so I asked if they could ship one to Nanaimo. The answer is a NO it has to be paid for first. I do not have any credit cards I was informed to go get a pre-paid visa I got rid of my credit cards because I was tired of paying $500 a month in interest. I will find what I am looking for somewhere else. I will also post this on the shooting forum.Thank you Cabela's. I asked to talk to a supervisor and was told one was not available

Ordered a crossbow online for Black Friday price , they still haven't shipped 10 days later and now have charged me the full price. Called and they refuse to honor sale price. MISSLEADING ADVERTISING TO CLICK ON A SALE PRICE AND ORDER THEN CHARGED FULL PRICE . RIPPED ME OFF SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLORS BECAUSE STILL NO BOW OR REFUND

Worst customer service I have ever received. Ordered 2 sweaters online on Sept 22, 2022. Waited almost 2 weeks for my parcel to arrive. When delivered, I opened the box to see a hole in one of the sweaters and I could tell it was a return. I contacted customer service on the same day and spoke to a representative who could care less about my situation. She told me to send my return back to which I did the next day. I waited a week and a half, to not receive a refund or notification. I contacted customer service again and the rep told me the return was received and the refund was issued but could take some time". I waited a week and a half again and contacted customer service AGAIN. The rep told me the refund was never sent to the finance dept and she would "do it today". I asked to speak to a manager to which she replied "one was not available and the would do a call back." I have yet to receive that call back. I am frustrated and will NEVER order from here again."

Customer service inexistent. Tried to email them many times. They have responded to 0 of my emails. I have been waiting for a refund for 6 weeks ... Their return/refund process is a complete mess.
