Please check their chocolate bars - they are out of date. When brought to the attention of a clerk and the owner he would not take them off the shelf. He said it was only a best before date. They are from September and it is now January. He was also very, very rude!!!

Staff had a poor knowledge of product and directed me to buy the wrong product , so when I wanted to return it, he said you can’t because you already opened it. He was being super unfriendly and yelled that it wasn’t his fault and acted like he didn’t do it

The lady that runs this store is very rude and steals from customers. Twice I have gone in she adds one or two dollars to the bill when I asked her about it she said it was tax and got mad. You are only allowed to charge a certain amount of tax not 26%!!My mom went to this store and same women “forgot” to give her change.Some products are expired.

This is a great store. I've been here several times and all the staff and the owner have been very helpful and kind. They already carry really good products with variety. Store itself is clean well organized. Enjoyed my shopping here

I love the location and the amount of offered goods. I've been going there for years. Don't be surprised if you sometimes see out of ordinary prices at this dollar store, they always make up for it by the quality and/or quantity.

Just wanted to share my experience last night at your New West store. Amazing staff member named Nahid helped me find some things to complete my task of sending a parcel overseas. Her warm and welcoming attitude made my experience fun instead of a frustrating one. She assisted with each item and question I had in between accommodating other customers. Thank you Nahid for making my recent visit so enjoyable!

I bought a three way light bulb on May 7 2022 from this New Westminster dollar store for $3.99. I put it in the lamp last night and it fizzled out in 5 seconds and then burnt out. It was a no name brand and obviously defective. I took it back for a money refund and they refused. They said that they don’t give refunds. I argued that the product was defective therefore their policy makes no sense. I also suggested this was terrible customer relations. So if you can’t go elsewhere then I suggest you be careful which products you buy as the Chinese Lady was very uncooperative. Bill Davis
