I’ve been going to Steve for my tattoos for years and he never disappoints!! I have never had a bad experience and LOVE every piece he’s done for me!! The shop is so clean and cute which makes you feel super comfortable while getting tattooed!

Got my very first tattoo today, I was extremely nervous. Steve was phenomenal...I mean ABSOLUTELY phenomenal!! He made my first tattoo experience wonderful. The shop is super clean, and everything was sanitized. I 100% recommend him and I definitely will be back.

First and foremost, Steve is one of a kind. My father and I only trust Steve with our tattoos. Nut & Bolt Tattoo is the antithesis of what a studio should be. Extremely clean and comfortable. It is SPOTLESS and has beautifully maintained fishtanks, which are really relaxing to look at. I recently saw Steve to begin the process of my sleeve tattoo. Being someone who only has smaller tattoos, it was really important that I trusted the artist to do something of this magnitude. Steve’s honesty, creativity and patience are what provided me peace-of-mind starting a tattoo so much larger than I had ever done before. He’s totally up front about what will work and what won’t because he truly cares about the tattoo he is doing and not just how it looks day 1 but 10, 20 years from now. He not only possess an unbelievable amount of patience and passion for the artwork he creates, he also remained flexible to accommodate concepts that were intrinsically important to me. He has the ability to improvise and riff on ideas to make something truly unique and special. Everyone who’s seen it has commented and noticed the beautiful shading, detail and line work. I wanted my tattoo to tell a story, as well as, be historically accurate with ancient Egyptian history and Steve went above and beyond to patiently listen to all my requests and created such beautifully detailed tattoos while maintaining the integrity of the Egyptian goddesses I wanted. He planned them with as much passion and creativity as if it was his own tattoo. You won’t find that level of attention to detail anywhere else. It will truly be an honor to wear it for life.Thanks again, Steve, for putting so much of your time and energy into what you created for me. You did such an amazing job and are so kind and professional. I can’t wait to continue the sleeve next month!

Steve is hands down one of the BEST artists in the Roc area. Great with color, black & Grey and new school work. Would recommend him to anyone!

Steve is an amazing artist. I had very hard cover up he has been working at for a while and i could not be happier with the results. I absolutely love my tattoo now…i get compliments all the time. 10/10!!I have not gotten a tattoo in about 4 years.. Steve made it easy and simple to get my chest finished. He made me feel like I was right at home, Plus he’s really good at what he does and he takes it seriously. If you want amazing quality work and a guy who makes it easy I strongly recommend Nut and Bolt Tattoo. I WILL be coming back monthly to continue my work with Steve. Nothing but the best here!.

My best experience with a tattoo shop in the Rochester area. Steve was patient and more than willing to adjust size and placement multiple times. He never came across as frustrated and never made me feel rushed or pressured. Steve took his time to make sure my tattoos were quality. His line work is excellent and I have received many compliments on the color work. The shop is clean and has a friendly atmosphere.
