The food was good, ambiance and decor was nice too.Those are the only positives. We had a terrible experience with the waiter. We were a table of 7-8, it took forever to get our food. I ordered a soup and it was cold, I also ordered tea and it was lukewarm and super bitter, you could tell it steeped for more than 20 minutes.One of my friend ordered something and received the wrong thing, waiter never got her the right thing and blamed it on her.Then the worst part is when it came time to pay: one of my friend paid in cash, she left a tip but the amount didn't exactly equate to 15% because she didn't have change. We didn't think it was a big deal, but immediately the waiter became extremely rude and demanded that she give the 2$ missing so he could get 15%.It's not usual for me to leave a bad review, but the experience with the waiter was absolutely ridiculous.

My first time eating at Zento. After hearing so much about it I decided to try it for myself. Wow! The food is amazing and the way they design" the food on the plate is so cool! Service was excellent

Visiting Montreal for a week and I ate here three times! Friendly service, reasonable prices, and large portions. Recommend the poke bowl, tofu tempura, Royal gyoza and sushi!

Went to Zento with a group from work and it was such a great experience all around. Food was fantastic and fresh, service was really good even though it was a friday night and they were super busy. Oh ya and the waiters are really cute! I'll definitely be back ;)

Terrible experience, even though I was a regular customer for many years, eventually, yesterday I realized that i should never go there again for many reasons, 1. Because of rude and disrespectful waiters that they have.2. It takes forever to get your meal.3. Dirty and disgusting water they bring to the table.4. Highly priced, and yet the waiters beg for more tips...5. And so on....I definitely don't recommend it to anyone

Food was amazingggg, service was great. No complaints. I arrived with a friend close to closing time and they were super stars, totally accommodated us, food came so fast. Despite the staff rushing around trying to close the resto, they were still very attentive and made it a great experience. Would definitely go again. It was seriously so good. And very reasonably priced for the amount of sushi I ordered.

Zento has the absolute best sushi in town! I've had a lot of sushi over the years but I always come back to Zento. You can count on freshness and quality. Excellent restaurant. Highly recommend!

Disappointing takeout experience. Ordered the combo for 3 and the sushi was not fresh. It seemed like we got all of the leftover rolls from the day. On top of that one of the rolls had shrimp that had not been deshelled at all. The restaurant itself is nice, spacious and well decorated. The cashier was unwelcoming and cold. There are better options in the area.

Went with a group and we all ordered different things so we could share. Suffice it to say there was NOTHING left on the plates when we were finished! Everything was so delicious, the hot food and the cold too. Would for sure recommend to anyone, especially sushi lovers!
