Church-Key Brewing Company

Saw this place on the side of the road and decided to stop in before heading to the cottage. Picked up a growler and shared with everyone at the cottage. Got universally good reviews from everyone who tried it and I’ll say it was absolutely fantastic and surprisingly cheap. Will definitely be back to pick some more up.

For transparency, I don’t drink beer. So I can’t comment on the actual beer they make BUT I do know them for what they do around the community and how well the support the music and art communities in the Trenthills area.Plus I have heard from others that the beer is fantastic.

Only if one of the beers hit the absolute right note with me would I score the full 5 stars. Having said that very chill unpretentious place to sample some quality Ontario craft beers. Highly recommended a visit.

Small microbrewery in Petherick's Corners near Campbellford. Nice place to visit. Unfortunately no tastings during this COVID thing. Great beer and they have free delivery, too!

We luv craft beer and luv supporting local businesses. We were very glad that we visited the Church-Key Brewing as it is situated at a very unique setting. It transforms an old church into a local craft brewery. They brew their own beer here in the church and provides a great outdoor spot for people to enjoy beer.They provide a firepit to keep people warm and also physical distancing during this pandemic so people can enjoy beer flights while staying apart.I highly recommend you try its beer flights. Although I wish they offer more variety of beers as during our visit, there were only 5 beer flavours while the beer flights offers 6 of them, so we have to double up with one of the flavours. Nevertheless, they are good beer and it's quite a nice vibe sitting outside, seeing cars go by while we observe the church building and the surrounding farmland.MoVernie TIP: Church-Key Brewing offers beer to go. You can buy the mixed pack tall boys or order a Growler. For less than $20 a growler, it includes the growler bottle and the fresh beer. It's a cool way to carry the beer back home and share with your loved ones.

Just a couple miles from our cottage on the Crowe River. Always enjoy dropping in for some unique ales or to enjoy an event. John's West Coast Pale Ale is superb!

Local craft beer just outside of Campbellford. I recommend Church-key’s Holy Smoke, peat smoked scotch ale it is incredible. Live music and friendly locals gather outside making it a very welcoming spot to take a seat, listen to some great tunes and enjoy a cold brew. It’s a hidden gem If you are passing by don’t miss it!

One of my favourite places to be! Incredible owners and employees who make it feel like home. Lots of amazing events, musical performances, and bonfire chats. Oh yeah - and the beer is great too.

Excellent brewery with a great selection. Awesome events all summer long. Highly recommended!

Great local craft beer and music events take place here. Been a fan for 11 years now since moving to the area. Love the fire pit when weather is cooler. The Irish Red is my favorite beer here.
