They can't keep a decent temperature on site at hospital in grande prairie.... thermostat guys... thermostat... I've mentioned this to them and would get the run around... no straight reason to why....

Safety. Safety of ones workers and the community they work in. Lots have changed over the years, society, and customers, demand all companies are held to a high level of safety standards. Lots have changed over the years indeed, all except Clark builders who, by all appearances, have safety standards that are stuck in the 60s.I live near one of the current construction sites and have seen a few examples that lead me to this determination but nothing as disgusting as I saw today. While one of their workers attempted to clean the Public road by scrapping dirt off of it going back and forth. Was going well over the posted playground speed limits as he sped the unit in REVERSE, multiple times, passed the playground, about a 100-125 foot length, that had kids playing & vehicles driving by. Huge concern that with low standard of concern for safety that their negligence , by the end of this project, will hurt someone in the community , or worse. Safety. High standards? Or no standards? For Clark Builders, it appears to be the latter and that puts everyone at risk.

Clark Builders is not a professional place to work. They will act nice upon hiring you and offer you good pay to start. However, I spoke my mind and it cost me my job. If you are new to Clark, please make sure you are not friends with anyone with any influence. It will cost you your job.Clark's way of terminating people is to lie to them, atleast this is what was done to me. Please be cautious if someone claims you are being transferred due to Manpower and vaccination issues.

I came to Clark Builders as a concrete finisher. I had always worked with my family so coming to a new environment with different people on jobs was very unfamiliar with me. I was happy to learn that there are a lot of good people out there that were willing to lend a hand when it was needed. It doesn't matter where you go in this world you will always find unpleasant people and situations but that's when you're presented with an opportunity to make a choice about how you react and deal with it. It doesn't matter where I go or who I'm working for but I always put my best effort in and I know my Foreman and Superintendents recognized that because when I needed something like safety courses, time off or a specialty tool I was supplied with it because I was an asset, which is what everyone should try to be. I never imagined I'd get to work in the places I did in such a short time and help be apart of building this province.

Unsafe work environments that lead workers to getting injured. After workers get injured from work related incidents they fire them.

I have been contracted by them to do photos for a handful of years now and everyone has been super helpful and professional. Their new office space is spacious and gorgeous and I love seeing the beautiful work they produce.
