As a single mother one of the most difficult challenges I've had to face is dealing with issues arising with my townhouse. I recently had a home inspection conducted by DSM Property Services on a townhouse that I rent. I wanted to bring someone qualified in to inspect the unit and help determine the overall condition, as the unit has been rented for the last 12 years. I met with Vito and together we walked through the unit. Vito was very thorough with his explanation of the process. His attention to detail and his ability to help me better understand what needed to be done was extremely reassuring. Following the inspection, Vito took the time and sat down with me and together we went through all of the essential points and recommendations and afforded me the time to ask the questions I needed to ask. Later that day, Vito sent me a completed, detailed report that outlined his findings so I could use it as a point of reference for repairs that needed to be done. Vito is a life saver. We almost bought a house and were in a compromised position for inspection timing. I explained the situation to many inspectors and they all told us that we were on our own. VIto came to our rescue and didn't take advantage of us.With respect to the inspection Vito looked over everything and explained everything and gave great advise. Not only that but after the fact he still took my calls and answered our questions. His report was well laid out and added a lot of value.I can not thank Vito enough nor sing his praises enough. I had a home inspection in Mississauga on April 7th, 2014. Vito was very thorough, guided me during the whole inspection, draw my attention to every possible issue and explained how to correct/fix it. My real estate agent was so impressed - she said that she has never in the past 5 years seen a single inspector going actually on a roof and paying attention to so many details. She said Vito was the best even compared with more expensive ones - she said they use binoculars to inspect the roof. Needless to say I am very happy with the inspection and for my next inspection (coming soon as I couldn't buy that house as my offer didn't go through) will definitely call Vito and recommend him to everyone. Hopefully he will be available when time comes :)

Overall good home inspection service however I did have an event with mentioning. The appliances are not included in the inspection and I had a had experience as an explosive broke on day 1 after moving in and the homeowner basically said that you should have validated in home inspection. Thought this should be table stakes but I was told that appliances are not included in this service. They did find some issues with insulation and venting so overall a decent job.

Vito was available for a home inspection with last minute notice, we were delayed by the bank with financing and he came out without hesitation. He provided a thorough walk through and even recommended we be present to go over any issues.
