Strategic Group

I had an interview with another company that use to be located at strategic groups office,and the lady in reception was so helpful in making sure I find the right place. Without hesitation she was looking up addresses and phone numbers,and even called the company I applied for to tell them the situation. If this is how they treat me walking in off the street,I can only imagine that working for strategic group,or hiring them for your project is a good decision. In fact I almost wish they asked me if I'd like an interview because I can already tell they're an awesome business.

I live in the Mission 17 Apartment complex and I absolutely LOVE IT HERE. The building is incredibly clean and well-maintained and the community is second to none. I've lived here for nearly 3 years now and I can't begin to explain how satisfied I have been throughout my entire experience with this company. I have a small dog and he has become good friends with all the other dogs while I have become good friends with all my neighbors. The property managers are responsive and courteous and any issues are solved immediately. A+++ ; Would (and do) highly recommend.

We have had no issues leasing through Strategic. Our building manager, Mohsin is great. He is always eager to help in any situation. He goes above and beyond our expectations and we quite enjoy working with him! Thank you for making our commercial leasing experience easier :)

The buildings they manage are beautiful and nice but the company itself is not. Everything I need takes months, I have friends who are trying to rent an apartment at the same building as mine and its been almost 2 months they are trying to get in touch with strategic and no one answers. Same with me, i had to renew my contract and it took me almost 2 months, now I`m trying to rent a parking for 2 weeks and only god knows when I will get it...I try calling, texting, leaving voice messages, opening tickets......nothing

The back of the building at Shellbourne Place is disgusting. Garbage Blocking entrances and parking spaces. If I could give them a -1 I would. Don't see maintenance around to check much of anything. Would not recommend renting from them. I live in the area and have seen this frequently walking my Dog.Update.In response to strategic. Your saying this is not your building - 1019 17 Avenue?

Worst Property Management company ever. Our parkade is constantly getting broken into and car windows smashed out on a daily basis and they refuse to do anything about it or even address the issue. Finally happened to one of my friends vehicles in visitor parking the other night and all my property manager had to say was “yea we’ve noticed there’s an issue, don’t know what to do about it.” You guys advertise our building has 24 hour surveillance but it clearly doesn’t. They are also constantly ticketing our vehicles and threatening to tow for parking in visitor parking since “it is meant for retail parking too.” Well, maybe if you didn’t charge an extra $200 a month for underground parking everyone wouldn’t take your precious “retail” parking spots. On top of that, they do nothing about noise complaints, I have rowdy neighbours that will scream and party at all hours of the night on week nights when I need to be up for work at 3:30AM and management doesn’t even address the complaints when they’re filed. The building is brand new but the elevator is breaking every other week and my shower has leaked water out of the bottom since I’ve moved in and never got fixed. The water pressure is non-existent as “it’s a part of their eco-friendly movement,” as I was told. In the winter the property maintenance was horrible, snow wasn’t removed for at least 2 days on most occasions. When requesting entry to your apartment the excuses they give don’t even make sense and when questioned about reasoning they seem to ignore phone calls. Can’t wait for this lease to be up. So overpriced for such an unsecured building and unorganized management.

Our office is currently in the 2020 SW building. We have no complaints in regards to how Strategic manages the building. We would have minor issues but they were all quickly resolved. Tyler, the senior building operator is always present making sure everything in the building is good. He is friendly and approachable. He would respond to all service requests before end of day making sure it is resolved. The custodial, Moo, is very helpful as well. Keeps everything tidy and is always willing to help.

Classic shady property management company run by a hustler (Riaz Mamdani). Look into it and you will see his murky transition to property boss". A litany of unpaid contractors and lawsuits. Give their rentals a hard pass. This guy can build his "success story" off of someone else's back

I have lived at Strategic 's CUBE since August, 2019. Every staff person with whom I have dealt, have gone out of their way to help me, and have quickly taken action to resolve my apartment needs. All have been pleasant & polite, even in frustrating situations.Most recently, just three days before Nov 1, I emailed Sherry about adding a parking space to my lease. She immediately responded, and I had my space before Nov 1.Sherry has an amazing, friendly and energetic personality, and always has time to hear where attention is required, and learn what needs the residents may have.

Worst mistake of my life moving into UpTen, which is part of the Strategic Group. Had numerous other tenants warn me when I did the tour and I wish I listened.- Elevators are constantly breaking, skipping floors and at times there is only one elevator for the entire building working for 38 floors- The building has frequent leaks, the roof in the gym is still leaking (which has caused a safety hazard numerous times) and a part of the floor outside of the gym- The nice mirrors in the picture in the lobby online have been missing for a while and the one that was installed recently had a scaffolding piece fall and it almost hit me + another tenant (the Receptionist even noticed it)- The pet wash is under maintenance and has been for a long time (along with the garbage room access)- Half of the hallways in the parkade have massive holes in the wall/damage- The management staff is terrible, had to send the Assistant Manager my banking information 5 times before he got it right (sent me an eviction letter without even talking to me, then I had to remind him I sent him the bank info numerous times and over 2 months ago)- The staff is also constantly turning over- Even after all these issues the company won't let me terminate the lease without penalty, despite all of their short comings and issues with the building
