The name Ponoka is Blackfoot for "elk", which is the animal depicted in the town flag.

Cleanest facility in the league.Paul Clarke at the rink is an absolute gem and a beauty.Not to mention both ice surfaces are always in tip top shape and very reasonably priced!Can't wait to watch the Junior team back on the ice in that great town & facility!

A twin arena. Easy to find. Full concession with decent food and fair prices. The spring rolls are to die for! Bleachers are fairly warm without heat. Not the best view of you want to watch from the warm area.

Really nicely set up twin arena - with enough (biiiiig) dressing room for a tournament! The concession is reasonably priced and serves really good food as well

I lost my phone during a very busy hockey tournament and the staff (and volunteers) were so helpful in trying to find it. I'm so grateful for their help as it was what ultimately connected me with the person who had found it and was trying to return it.

Attended a jockey game for one of my grandson's in Ponoka, very clean environment, friendly folks but sadly we came up on the short ending of the game allowing the hosts to run away with the game.

We love coming to Stampede every year. Great event. Free parking. Nice venue. Every seat is a good seat. Bring some padding to sit in the stands.

The U18 men, woman’s, and u15 curling event was good. The whole place is hospitable, but the viewing behind sheets 4-5 aren’t great. Weird setup in that the entrance is up a set of blue grater stairs, so not wheelchair accessible. The ice was okay.

Very well cleaned arena. Loved how wide spread the heat was in the stands and the dressing rooms are very good size.
