The employees here are very friendly and welcoming, and will chat with and help you if you are looking for something specific. The products in here are lovely and mostly reasonably priced, and the store just has that calming aesthetic when you're in it. I bought a little cat statuette and a necklace there and I am so happy with them. This was a great place for me to get a souvenir!

Lotus Boutique, located in Vieux Montréal across the street from the Notre Dame Basilica, is a very special place for me .I am always greeted with genuine compassion and kindness when I visit the boutique, and a sublime feeling of serenity always washes over me. Over the years, my husband and I have purchased a number of authentic beautiful and blessed, unique and sacred pieces of hand-made artwork and religious objects from Nepal, India, and Bali. The owner and staff are truly good people who graciously give their time to help visitors understand the myriad of precious objects offered for purchase in the boutique. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lotus Boutique, a Tibetan specialty store, and it was nothing short of an enchanting journey. I purchased a ground chakra bracelet and necklace, and they are not only aesthetically pleasing but have an apparent quality that assures longevity. I found a really nice lamp and mosaic tile bowl in this store during a visit to old Montreal. Prices were reasonable, and the clerk was friendly. We made the purchase, and inquired about shipping the items back to the US. The owner advised us against shipping the items, and she said that her experience was not good shipping, the items usually didn't survive the trip. She happily offered to refund our money, but I really loved the items, and decided to purchase them anyway. The clerk carefully wrapped the items, and we took them to the UPS store a few blocks away to ship them. Shipping cost more than the items shipped, but the items were carefully packaged, and they arrived today, in tact. I am very happy with my purchase.

This store caught my eye as I walked by. The window display hooked me for sure. Everything was well designed and had that authentic vibe and look. The staff were very knowledgeable as the person ahead of us nearly got an education in the piece she was inquiring about. She apologized for taking long but I was into the story she was telling so I didn't mind at all. I love it when people love their job and you can feel it here. Great experience all round.

One of my favorite shops in Old Port, Montreal. I walked by the shop and I was impressed by its window displays. I just HAD to buy the ganesh" lamp I saw in the window! Google describes this shop as a "clothing store"

I wandered in here a few weeks ago, and the clerk (who's name I can't remember, but he was a graduate student of Buddhism) was very kind to explain about the different Buddhas. The shop is very quaint, and if you are not practicing self discipline you will walk out with more than you intended. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Montreal!
