Came here with my wife to try the Winterlicious menu, but we ended up ordering the Sono Affamoto four-course family style sampler instead. BEST decision we made! The amount of dishes and variety is unreal! Our waiter was super friendly and easy going, and explained all the dishes as they came out. It was a nice touch and really made us feel at home. Everything was top quality, superb presentation, and fairly priced. Bookmarked to come back with some friends.

Great Atmosphere, Service & Food.I came here for dinner last week and everything about the experience was better than a lot of other Italian restaurants I have been too.The server was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food is something you may be able to find somewhere else but the way they present and bring all the ingredients and flavours together make it a step above the rest.I had the broccoli salad & pizza. The way they prepare and cook the dough for the pizza makes it light and delicious. If you’re looking for Italian, I highly recommend coming here.

Great service, delicious food, and super friendly staff. They have my sister in law a free dessert when they found out it was her birthday. Waiters are phenomenal in service. Would gladly return here whenever possible

A chic Italian place with lovely service and delicious plates. Comfortable seating. Easy to find. A little dark in the venue but bright enough at the tables. Lots of cosy seating for 1-4 but with many areas that looked like they could accommodate more. Definitely downtown prices but a solid place to bring a client or have a special occasion meal.I came as party of 3 and it was great. Easy to reserve online. Couldn't find a dress code on their website but when you make a reservation, it says smart casual." The atmosphere was very nice

This restaurant may not appear spacious from the outside, but stepping inside will leave you amazed! In addition to its ample dining space that can accommodate a large number of customers, they serve delicious and unique Italian dishes. The service is excellent, and the prices are relatively affordable. There is also a public parking lot nearby, making it a great place for gathering with family or friends for a meal.

Stop looking and go here! We were two couples and had a dinner for a special occasion. Everything was truly exceptional. The vibe is the perfect mix of elegant, but relaxed and cosy, and the drinks are great as well to get the evening started.We ordered different small dishes to share for starters and all had different mains. Every single one of them was amazing. Prepared and presented beautifully and with passion, but not pretentious. The home made pasta was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the steak was as medium as it can be and the portions were ideal. Just delicious!BUT: what really blew our mind is how Amano Trattoria lives their Service. I’ve never seen such an attention to detail and this was one of the best service experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Starting from the way you’re greeted to recommendations and serving, you can instantly tell everyone working here love what they do and they make you feel welcome from the first second.We will all definitely come again!

The ambiance of Amano was beautiful, and so were the staff. For the Antipasti my boyfriend and I ordered the Calamari Fritti, very tasty, but the portion of the sauce was pretty small for a big plate. We also ordered bites of Lamb, extremely buttery, melted in your mouth!For our mains we ordered the Lobster Pasta and the 8oz Lamb. At the end we ordered the Tiramisu, very creamy but lacked the taste of espresso and the biscotti were a little harder than expected. Overall, we both were filled afterwards and very satisfied with the whole meal! Definitely will be coming back.

The ambiance was really lovely with the nice dim lighting and the dark wood etc. I thought the dishes Amano offered were quite unique and I haven't seen in other Italian restaurants. I ordered the grilled rainbow trout, which is not typical because I always order pasta. It was really delicious and cooked perfectly. The sauce that was underneath the trout was super flavorful. For the first time the pasta was not the star of the meal for me at an Italian restaurant.The pasta my boyfriend ordered was good too which was the Radiotori Verdi but definitely not the highlight. It had shrimp and was very light and fresh.I will definitely come back to try other dishes that caught my eye like the octopus risotto!

Came here with my 2 boys for dinner. Didn't make a reservation bc we were just wondering the streets. Glad we found this place! This is a fine dining but I had casual clothing. Which I didn't care. We ordered Charred Octopus, Arancini, Pinsa Margarita, Cappelletti di ricotta, Hanger steak, and Smashed potatoes. For drinks, I had pinot noir and a cocktail. 2 desserts.The waitress asked if I wanted the food all at once. Not really a fan of that but I said yes bc I don't usually bring my boys to fine restaurants. Probably made her life easier too.The food was really good! The only thing I didn't really care for was cappelletti di ricotta. I didn't get to taste hanger steak but my boys said it was too salty. The rest of the dishes were superb! Especially the Charred Octopus. We also enjoyed the dessert! Was delicious!The waitress told me the menu changes all the time. I was reading the reviews and wanted to try beef tartare and another dish that wasn't offer today. Overall, it was a great experience! Will definitely come back when we visit Toronto!
