This was a great experience for me. Due to COVID, the entire course was online. The admin staff were amazing and very helpful. Most of the instructors were awesome. One, in particular. Not sure if I am at liberty to say her name, but she was fantastic. I would highly recommend this to anyone. My course was: Crisis Response and Mental Health Worker

This school should not be certified. I would never in a million years recommend this school to anyone. The material is dated and half of it leads to websites or articles that are no longer active.. the school admin DOES NOT CARE about the students or their issues at all.. I have reported issues to the supposed management on 4 separate occasions and nothing has been resolved or even acknowledge.. it recently came to light that our first time reporting issues was actually intentionally not sent to upper management out of fear of their response.. if that isnt fraudulent I dont know what is..DO NOT COME HERE

As I approach the last few weeks of my community and mental health support worker certificate, I have been extremely satisfied with the course material and format. The instructors have great patience and understanding, while adjusting to online courses. Administration has been prompt and efficient in any (few) concerns I had, also going above and beyond to help students as we study for a better future.

Ms. Dhami, Dennis and Alisha have been amazing! I’m so glad I got to be a part of the dental receptionist course. I would definitely recommend these teachers!! They are so great and really helped me to learn everything!!

Almost finished the HCA program. The experience with our instructor Josephene Pagar has been incredible. Great hands on experience and a solid theory component as well. The level of engagement with the instructor has been wonderful and very helpful. Would recommend.

Ms. Dhami from the Dental Receptionist program is the most amazing teacher at DCC. She is so kind, understanding and professional. I really enjoyed learning from her!

Teachers are completely disorganized and rude, blame their mistakes on the students. They do a terrible job of staying on subject, sometimes spending hours discussing unimportant things like how to change your profile picture. They will phone you dozens of times on the weekend if they feel they need to and will try to force you to do things you're not required to do. School administration does not take complaints seriously or care in any way, often times not even responding to emails or phone calls. I've attended 4 other universities and none of them operated the way this one does, its absolutely ridiculous.

This College is incredible! Our instructor Dennis went out of his way to teach us with kindness and patience. Jennyfer and Monica have been so helpful and encouraging

5 stars for the experience with my instructor Miss Josephine. She teaches Health care Assistant courses. She is extremely informative and goes above and beyond to make sure every student has the support the need if they want it. The college is very lucky to have her.

Overall, my experience at Discovery Community College was the best experience ever. They thoroughly teach you the softwares you need to succeed as a dental receptionist. ClearDent and PowerPractice, they teach these softwares and all attributes of dental receptionist so well and effective, so you are prepared for your practicum especially through the teaching of the instructor I had Jan Dhami. I am so glad I decided to become a dental receptionist at this college. The Instructor Ms.Dhami She’s very detailed and passionate about teaching. If you have Ms. Dhami as an instructor, you won’t be disappointed. She’s extremely organized and very responsive. She offers a lot of additional help and guidance to help with the process of becoming a dental receptionist and she goes out of her way to ensure her students are getting what they need. I cannot speak highly enough of Ms. Dhami She is so patient with her students and teaches them in a fun, easy and memorable way and most importantly gives them the confidence to succeed.
