Ethan is the consummate professional!He was working under our back patio door because my brick was flaking off due to repeated freezing and thawing over the years. When I got home from work, they had already removed the first two layers. To my horror, we discovered that I had carpenter ants! I was able get the house sprayed that afternoon and I expressed concern (this occurred in July, 2022) to Ethan that I was scared of mice getting into my open walls as I knew the house would be open for a couple of months. He came back on his own time and foam sprayed the openings to help me sleep at night and put in temporary weather proofing. He didn’t have to do that. He truly goes above and beyond! I’m grateful to have exposed this problem as it would’ve eventually spread to other areas of our home.He allowed me all the time I needed (had trouble finding a contractor and a new patio door) to make the necessary repairs to the structure under my door and fit me back into his schedule once the repairs were done and I sprayed the house for the second time. He then came back, weather proofed the entire area, (nothing was there before his temporary weather proofing) rebricked it and reinstalled the limestone sill under the patio door. Looks way better now!He also did the same to my front entrance. Thankfully, no ants! Whew! And then parged the entire front of our house to make the whole front look uniform.We’ve already booked him and his brother and colleague for more work in the spring at my Mom’s house! Mammoth Masonry restored our front porch by fixing all the existing cracks, and then parging around the perimeter of the porch. They did a very professional job, and made the porch look top-notch! Mammoth also re-pointed the brick in a number of areas around our house. It was incredible how closely they matched the colour of the existing mortar, you would never know the mortar was repaired.

My backyard has never looked better! Mammoth masonry was extremely professional and paid attention to the smallest of details. I’m very happy I used these guys, and will definitely use them again for any future masonry needs.

We are thoroughly pleased with the work and work ethic of Mammoth Masonry. The two concrete pads look great, as do the parging & brick mortar repair on either side of our garage door. We will be calling them again for further jobs, and would recommend them without hesitation.

Honestly one of the best contractors I’ve ever worked with.Ethan is a true professional and a master of his craft.On time, on budget, and phenomenal work. We ripped out a sliding glass door and needed to fill it with brick and also had Ethan replace a brick wall above our fireplace exhaust.Not only was the finished product exactly what we wanted, he always kept his workspace clean, which is uncommon in the trades.I highly recommend Ethan and Mammoth Masonry.
