La Tour Belvedere hotel
Large room and bathroom plus kitchenette. Comfortable bed and a little balcony - great value for money. A bit of stale cigarette smell in lift and hallway. You have to use room key or call them to get in the building (although you can just about see the front desk from the door). Paid parking nearby, short term parking free nearby on street except certain times

Hope your upgraded rooms are better renovated but the room I stayed in was need of a updated. Everything is dirty and have seen better days. The first room that we were offered the sofabed had holes in the cushions. We asked to be change in rooms and the new room was decent but needs to be better. I understand it is a 3* hotel and most other 3* doesn't have a kitchen but the hotel needs to change its furniture and touch up in paint. Good location, good price, nice front staff.

Great location, walking distance to where all the shops and restaurants are, very friendly staff. My room was clean and comfortable, I got a renovated suite, The only problem was the air conditioner which was too noisy. It’s a nice hotel overall but the building itself is old and outdated. With a little bit of renovation and maintenance it can be a great Hotel.

We were upgraded to a room with no carpet, yet the place still smelled like cigarette covered with cheap dollar store perfume. Walls were cracked everywhere, gaps in the floor, dirt and even mold on one of the kitchen drawer. Shockingly enough, the bathroom was more « decent ». The tv was ant size, there was a stain on the stucco ceiling and after leaving, our hands felt sticky and dirty. I started getting a headache from the smell after 1h30 in there so we packed our bags and went somewhere else. We had booked 2 nights, neither will be refunded. We were extremely tired but not tired enough to look for another hotel, book it, drive all the way there, find parking… that’s how bad the place was. 1/2 star hotel would be more accurate.Cancellation policy is 48h instead the standard 24h. Don’t leave a voicemail, you’ll never be called back.

The concept is cool and the location is good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded" to a room with no carpet. The rooms were very spacious but honestly I don't know the last time someone wiped a wall or cleaned a baseboard. It was so dirty. The hotel could definitely improve on the cleanliness. I guess our upgrade was worth it. I wouldn't want to see the carpet! If you're only looking for a one night stay it would be fine."

I rented out an apartment unit on a one year lease. I was very satisfied throughout the duration of my time there. My unit was furnished and in good condition. The furniture provided was modern. The place is well maintained and provides great amenities such as a well equipped gym and a pool on the highest floor of the apartment hotel providing a great view. The outside terrace has a wonderful view of the city and Mont Royal especially at sunrise and sunset. I spent quite a lot of my evenings there when able to. It's also right in front of Shaughnessy cafe, where you can get what I'd consider the best croissaints and cappuccino's in all of Montreal. Spent many of my mornings there.Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay there. In particular, Erika was very kind and helpful whenever any few issues arose. She always checked in to make sure that everything was alright and well. Andre was very helpful in helping out with any technical issues that arose within the unit and he dealt with any problems swiftly. I greatly appreciate their efforts in making my experience a great one.All in all, I can highly recommend a stay at La Tour Belvedere.

It's good for the price with a convenient location. Wildly hot though in the apartment with no control of the temperature. Having a kitchen was nice and it's close to a grocery store. The bed was actually quite comfy. But the place really could use an upgrade- the shower head screams when you use it, the walls are cracked, the tv remote does not work. But you get what you pay for I suppose!

La Tour Belvedere popped up when looking for an affordable place to stay in Montreal, and I am glad we chose it. The prices were good and the rooms included everything we wanted (and more, in some regards). The location is very good; walking distance to busy areas, to food and shopping, and very close to transit. Arrival was easy and we were immediately told that we were moved up because of renovations that are going on.The rooms were not perfect, so it is great to hear that renos are happening. I don't want to talk down the place because both of us were happy; we received good accommodations with cheaper rates! But for future users to know what to expect: The hotel is an older one, as far as modern buildings go. There are newer things, like keycards and the good TV in the rooms - but things do die their age, like the doors and a phone line, and there were a couple patches on the walls that you notice here and there. Our room did look good upon arrival. The kitchen included a full-sized fridge with freezer, stove and sink. There were cooking tools, a toaster, kettle, and cutlery. The building has a lot of long term tenants, so I could see that was set up for apartment residents, but it was also very useful for us as hotel guests. The bathroom was good; everything worked well, but, again, some things showed their age - like how the lights heated the room. The shower was nice, and the soaps and shampoos provided were a bonus. The deck had a great view, it's a nice size and a fun place to hang out on. The 2 doors leading to it like an airlock weren't pretty but are beneficial for heat and light - I really appreciated them each morning. The curtains also worked well and the air conditioner worked even better. The bed was a great size for 2 people, the mattress seemed a good quality because you couldn't tell the other person was moving. The pillows were not great, but the sheets were just right for the room. The couch was nice to sit on, and the tables were convenient. The outlets in the walls in the main room were not in the best spots for charging devices (more hidden like outlets were in the 20th century) - although everything did work well, outlets and appliances, both in the kitchen and in the main room.We are very happy we stayed here, it was a good place and we'll be looking at it for our next visit.
