Awful! Yes low rent but almost not worth it! They dont fix anything! I've called for over 4 months almost every week for safety hazards in my home and never get a reply back! Tasha called and verbally attacked me about an outstanding balance of 67 dollars I've had for over a year, that I went in and paid in march. She went on to tell me you obviously dont care about your kids...you haven't came in to pay the amount owing" very snobby rude and VERY Unprofessional. Dont like what you do? Get a different career"

The places are dumps. They don't care to maintain anything up to code. You're likely going to have to live with cockroaches and or bed bugs.

Unfortunately, staff at Kingston Housing treat individuals, who require their services, disrespectfully. Concerns, frequently, go unnoticed. Something needs to change.Especially, attitudes, and/or ideations of people who are labelled, low income."It seems people of low income housholds do not deserve respect

I can’t beileve how bad of an experience I’ve had with KFHC. I wish I could give this review 0 stars. I signed a lease for a place for Dec 1st and put a down a months rent. I got a call from them saying it won’t be ready until Jan 1st. I understand things happen, it was a new townhouse they were building and I guess construction was taking longer than expected. I need to move out by Dec 1st and it is now Nov 22 and I have tried calling them numerous times to get my money back that I deposited and I have not heard back. The website is under construction and now I have to spend my day off going into the office because they don’t have enough respect to even answer my calls. I am so glad the place ended up falling through because I can only image the problems I would’ve gone through living there.

If it wasnt for their help i would be on the street. I am very thankful for the help. People have to understand the company has more then one place to look after. When i close my door and lock it this is my place, what goes on out there and It doesnt envold me. I stay out of it. Be happy on what you have.

Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Nothings changed. If I could attach pictures I would show you all the black mould and the state of not only my uncles unit but the entire facility. I just met five people well in the main lobby and the stories are horrendous. Frontenac housing is nothing more than a slumlord And even though the people that live in this building many are geared to income, they do not deserve to live in these conditions. I am tempted to call a meeting with all of the people that live in the building and start lobbying the government, and possibly the members of parliament to come and visit this lovely facility and see how rundown and disgusting it is. They don’t even vacuum the hallway carpets, and under the landlord, tenant act carpets have a shelf life of 10 years I’m told that these carpets have been in here probably 20+.I have never received a call back.Thank you Tracey for talking with me today and your assistance. I doubt very much. I’ll receive a call back from Kelly as I have called there multiple times since the first review I posted. Totally disappointed, but look out. Things are gonna change.

I went through a rough patch and was accepted into housing! They were very helpful and accommodating for my family! I’m very sad to leave but we are doing significantly better now, and I hope the next tenant whom gets my old place will appreciate the help as much as we did! Thank you guys again!

The worst property company...things don't get updated fixed and management is incompetent

My initial impression with the K&FHC is very impressed. Good, professional people doing fine work on behalf of the community, and they really helped me find a place that I love. I appreciate them all very much. I pray that God blesses them all.

KFHC has always been more than fair when I have had dealings with them...The staff are amazing.The problem I see is that the tenants don't bother to take care of their units and yards which gives the whole complex a bad look and name...They all complain about living in housing, yet they don't complain about the cheap rent, always thinking they should be able to do whatever they want...I think KFHC should do monthly inspections of each unit and those that are filthy should be given a reasonable time to clean up or be evicted..Low cost housing wasn't made available to people for drug or flop houses.There is a long list of good...clean...honest and quiet people who would love to live in a place they can afford..If you are unhappy with your surroundings do something to clean it up...
