I have lived in a Krafa apartment for 30+ years. I am aware that the building is seasoned" - however I am very comfortable. Periodically there are some issues that need to be cared for. I have found that making requests in a positive manner leads to quicker results. Being negative and getting angry gets tiring and doesn't always lead to a quick response."

Do yourself a favor; please I warn you to not rent from these people. I posted 1 star because I couldn't give anything less!!! Krafa rents old buildings and you get what you pay for, and this will be reflected in your rent. Caution however; your neighbors may become the worst of society that you know (unless your cool with drunks and the constant smell of pot) and if your expecting the Superintendent or Krafa to care.....good luck!! Properties are dumpy with very minimal lawn maintenance and as for the winter, just hope it doesn't snow because snow removal is non-existent.You've been warned. Never again for me!!!The one and only positive thing I can say is, because these are old buildings the are spacious. Good luck and search on.

I personally believe that If you're going to charge top dollar for an apartment. Then make sure it's worth it. So many people are struggling for housing. No wonder people don't want to move if they have cheap rent. But they definitely Do not want to move into the same Building as somebody else when they're paying way less.I ask that you do better. But I don't believe you will. 1800 dollars for a 2 bedroom When others in the same building are paying a thousand. And Next year you will charge even more.

Warning! If you are searching for a place to live, please do not let it be here. You will regret every moment of it. We have windows that rattle when it's windy and the sliding door leaks when it rains. We have been requesting to have them fixed for almost 2 years, and still only promises. The superintendent tells us they will come in a few weeks, or to write them again...for over 2 years now! We gave up on having them fixed. There are storage units in the laundry room, and someone took it upon themselves to steal all of our silverware, glasses and plates...even some of the Christmas decorations. How miraculous, since it is locked up, must be someone with a spare key. Disgusting. I must also mention that the building is very old and we were also unlucky to have the neighbor from hell above us. Again, sup only says I can't do anything. Sometimes, there are vagrants sleeping under the stairways and on each landing smells so horrible, as tenants smoke indoors. The inside walls are separated from each other on our landing, and when it's windy it sounds like they will break apart. Please avoid this building if you wish to live comfortably. In this case, just pay more to live in peace. You get absolutely nowhere with emails to the company...it's their I really don't care confirmation, I assume.

I have been attacked with Mace from a neighbor in my building I was hospitalized for a day then the police had to put me in a safe house they contacted Rick Krause who is head of Krafa Managment to have me transferred and they finally agreed I was ready to move and the night before at 7 pm they cancelled! They allow every junkie in town to sleep anywhere including our laundry room! The guy that’s apparently the super that just picks up rent does nothing ,,, he claims he can’t understand English when theres a problem!!! Ricardo the super only speaks to one lady in the building in which it’s rumoured he’s having an affair seen comming and going at odd hours from her unit The best way to deal with these slum lords is not at all they fix nothing and are completely rude to you if you need something fixed do it yourself cause these people are the worst cheap rent is all they are good for! Don’t rent here

Where do I start. It is very cold outside, and I wake up to a temperature of 65 degrees in my bedroom. I sometimes wear a toque to bed. I am 66 years old. They get away with this stuff even if you report them. I have both exhaust pipes attached to the underneath of my balcony from the furnace and hot water tank. Again, this is 'to code'! I have had to go to bed with my clothes on because of my carbon monoxide detector goes off. Very scary, I have pets. Although I ask for help, I am ignored.My superintendent seems to enjoy turning neighbors against each other. This issue is still unresolved.So if I were you, keep on looking elsewhere.

Rent is the cheapest I've been able to find in Kitchener and in a convienient location. Complaints have been addressed at various speeds over the years but lately they've been quick to resolve issues and maintenance! The building I rent is full of friendly people. I've been renting from Krafa for 5 years and they've been a pleasure to deal with.

it took us almost a year to get our window replaced after the downstairs neighbours family threw a rock in our window. The family member has a reputation with Krafa and was staying on their property unknowing to Krafa. They came to replace it after we failed to pay our rent on time a month ago. When we call them, they yell at us instead of attempting to negotiate.

Parking enforcement on their private street. Null and void. So we live off of one of their private streets. Its about 1.5 lanes wide with access to some condo's at the end. Its a steep hill and when cars are parked along the side there is just enough room for 1 car to pass by. They didn't do any snow clearing and multiple vehicles got stuck on the laneway trying to get out.The main reason for approaching Krafa property management was that there are cars that parked at the end of our driveway. They have plenty of room to park further up on the street avoiding our driveway and making it a happier world for all. But nope parks his car at the end of our driveway for months on end with it only moving once in a blue moon.So I reached our to Krafa to try to get some sort of resolution and they made it seem promising that they will get some sort of solution done. They were willing to come out and meet us. Chat about it was open to some sort of resolution, but beyond the first correspondence I have not heard a single thing back and its been almost 3 weeks since we've heard anything. I've tried emailing multiple contacts at Krafa and no response from them either.I've talked to the city of Cambridge already and unfortunately as a home owner on a private street we are stuck and can't do anything. But I've done all the leg work necessary for Krafa to be able to do something. All they really have to do is pick up the phone and call parking enforcement. Problem may not be solved but at least they're doing something rather than nothing.Very disappointed*Update* 6/1/2017Still trying to get a hold of Krafa. They said they would come out to the property to meet with the city by-law officer. My wife was home all day and no one showed. Not even a reason as to why they were a no show. And this was may 15th. Since no word or response.*Another Update 6/28/2017Still no word from Krafa. No response except an automated email from one of their employees saying she's on vacation until today.*Update 11/2/2017*No word from Krafa or anyone. Talked to a couple residents from their buildings. Apparently the property manager was working on a solution to put up signs. This was over 2 months ago and nothing has been done.Even talked about the Property Owner Krafa and its typical of them to say they are working on something and don't do anything about it. So all smoke and mirrors. Will say one thing to get you off their case for a bit. And ignore you for the rest of the time. Which is exactly what happened to us.**11/5/2018** UpdateStill no parking signs in sight. Cars still at the end of our driveway. No enforcement. Street is not cleaned of leaves. 1 pothole has been kind of fixed. But thats been it.
