Very helpful staff, lots of amenities to keep young people busy, access to computers and free wifi to those who need it but the selection of books is obviously not as robust as Toronto, but they offer an interlibrary loan system that has been very helpful. It's a very large and clean library, but just doesn't offer many books on the subjects I'm interested in and I almost always have to rely on the interlibrary loan system when I need a book. However, it's a very impressive library for a small town and the atmosphere inside, the staff and the many other amenities it offers, is deserving of five stars.

This is the loudest library I have ever tried to work in. Kids screaming, workshops with drumming and signing everywhere, no one noticing people working, no signs to keep your voice down, no quiet space. It was unbelievable to me that the staff didnt even notice everyone struggling to study, or the loud laughter and conversations of people spread out throughout the library. Very frustrating.

What an incredible space! I love the books collection, activities and just the vibe of this place. Will be visiting here very often! Thankful to have this in our area!

Amazing place and staff! Love their IdeaLab and can't wait for it to be open to the public again once Covid is under control. It is a beautiful modern library with a fantastic lab where you can make unique items!

This quaint library is almost anything but. Packed with technology, multipurpose rooms and innovative offerings, it's clear that resources we seriously poured into this ultra-modern facility.I found the staff helpful, informative, knowledgable and eager to show us the ins and outs of the facility.Whether a curious kid, a vivacious bookworm or an elderly trailblazer looking for a place to switch into productivity mode, this beautiful library will have it for you. More quiet study spaces may be of benefit in the future, but for now... Awesome job!

What a wonderful place. I love going on Saturday's for reading books program for babies and families. The girls working here are amazing. I want to thanks on the name of the community. What an amazing place to have in town (Alcona).

Great resources for every age. You can learn so many different practical skills at any age. Literally, they have programs suited for new borns up to seniors. Very inclusive. Amazing staff! Not to mention a great selection of books with several ways to access them. I usually don't approve of how government bodies spend money, but this library is an invaluable service to the community that is well used. Worth every penny!

Amazing selection of books, also a hacklab which has a 3D printing machine. There is also a green screen room, where you can film videos and put cool backdrops and audio in it. They have study rooms where it's always quiet, and benches and tables with umbrellas outside if you would like to read outside. Amazing place.
