Willing to break LTB rules in order to maximize profits and I have email proof for anyone who wants to see it.In general they will do ANYTHING to screw over tenants and get more money, and lemme tell you the money isn't going into bettering the buildings.Greedy company contributing to the downfall of Oshawa

Management sucks, I wish I able to give minus star. Management is greedy. Manager David is very rude and bad customer care service. If you submit any document or cancellation form in hard copy just need to take photo otherwise they says not submitted and ask about money. Targeting specified tenants. Biggest mistake to rent this apartment. There is no camera and security of vehicles in parking lot. Superintendent has no idea what they are doing. They do not know anything. If you want to lose money than rent this apartment. Very strongly NOT recommended. Terrible place to live.

We lived at 177 for a few years and had a great experience! Our apartment was a great size and lovely! The supers were always happy and the building was always spotless. The pools were a bonus. The only downfalls was the elevators would go down frequently and being on the 7th floor with a baby and stroller made stairs impossible, they were working on fixing them around the time we moved so may not be an issue anymore. I also was a light sleeper and if I had my window open I would wake up every morning at 4 am as strangers riffled through the dumpster. Other then those two things it was great! Also like to add Ida was great and always so friendly when she would see us!

I was looking into a rental unit at 177 Nonquon Rd. in Oshawa. When I arrived I was told the rental office was closed. She sent me across the street to speak to a lady named Ida. Ida was very pleasant and very happy to assist us. She took the time to walk me back over to the building - the one I was interested in - and showed me the layout of an available unit. She was willing to answer all my questions and I didn't feel rushed out the door. She was awesome!!!

Do not rent from Valiant. Due to a clerical error, thousands of dollars of my belongings were thrown in the trash without so much as a phone call, including live animals and family pictures that can never be replaced. They were slow in responding, and the compensation they offered was not even half of what the items were worth. I regret not going to the police, but my anxiety prevented it at the time. I knew they would fight me every step of the way, so I didn't push further, and went along with what they gave, but I wish I had. I also lived there for over a year and never had 4 working burners on my stove, despite repeated requests to get it fixed.

They advertise that you control your own heat. That's a lie. Units have thermostat but just for show. Heat is controlled by building. Elevators are constantly breaking. Currently only 2 working Elevators out of 3. One elevator has been down 7 months at time of this review. When people move in or out they put an elevator on service for them. Now your down to one elevator for over 250 units.UPDATE... All elevators working but no matter what they say in their reply you still don't control the heat. To say you can turn the heat down implies you can control the heat which you can't. Only control we have is to open or close windows. I updated star rating from 1 to 4. Shouldn't do an emotional review. Overall a nice quiet building (depending on your close neighbour's) as with anywhere. Supers do a diligent job keeping building clean. I would recommend renting here.

The property manager Andrea is sloppy, rude, and extremely unprofessional. Threats and harassment are the norm for these guys... Don't rent from valiant if you can help it.Edit::Dont let their cheesy replies fool you. Any attempt to contact the property manager would not be answered. Andrea will not call you back, she will not answer her phone, and she will not meet with you.If I could give a zero star I would.Run! Don't rent here.
