It was closed with a sign saying it would reopen June 2022. I visited in June 2023.

Worth a stop. It's small but free. Check out the asbestos suit and the fascinating call box receiving system. This is also the best source to find out about the great fire.

Cute little museum to visit if interested in fire department history.City historical facts of Saint John do include a great fire.Really interesting old firetrucks.Check it out.

this is such an amazing firefighter historical museum, admission is by donations the people working there were extremely friendly and knowledgeable!!
