I’ve been getting therapy from Kayla for over a year now, she’s so compassionate and creative. Her office has lots of art supplies and is a very warm, colorful and comfortable space.She’s very professional, empathetic and passionate about helping me.

After many years of enduring trauma I was very excited to find Kayla. I took my young child to see her 3 times and there were a myriad of unprofessional and emotionally difficult things that took place in our short time with her, including:- cancelling our last appointment due to a family situation and then never getting back to me. My young child was very upset about this and still talks about it- forgot our meeting and was eating dinner the whole time after we showed up- telling my child and I many things that she thought we should do with our situation, all of which were dangerous and toxic to our family (involving an extremely abusive family member who I was displaying clear distress about to Kayla and was seeking guidance on how to protect us)- told me many details of her personal family story, which felt very conflicting to me. I am not her friend, i was a patient...- often offered my child of unhealthy snacks- did not focus on making art and often just made me feel like I was babbling and upset with no help, and my child was present- told us she was giving us passes to a festival and when the time came we were very upset we couldn't go- she was super sweet to my kid! I just wish her professional standards were better because all she claims to be and seems upfront with the way her site and friendliness make her seem**** i was VERY disappointed in kayla's conduct and ended up having to quit my job (i am a struggling single mother dealing with domestic violence and addiction and racial issues in my family) and going to the Crisis Response Center just a week after she cancelled our appointment. Not okay and very upsetting. I still haven't heard a word from her and the weirdest part?She never charged me a cent....
