I don’t think I have ever been in a cleaner restaurant. WOW! Highly commendable, especially in today's environment. The service was amazing and the food was great! We will definitely be back and will be bringing friends as well.

Quick friendly service. Wonton soup was excellent, everything else was very bland. Not bad, per se, just bland. It’s the first Chinese food that I actually had to add salt.

Perfect service, great Chinese. Harry, the owner makes the best egg rolls you've ever had. I've looked far afield and none cimpare. Also try the egg Foo Young. Unbeatable.

Golden Pond Restaurant
Stopped in to the Golden Pond enroute to Yarmouth, and enjoyed an excellent meal. Bonnie was our server and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the surroundings. The staff was gracious and very helpful. Will make it a must stop" when we travel up to the city to see the kids and grandsons."

Food very generic. Tasted “out of the box” and used sugar and MSG to compensate for lack of flavour. I went with my family of 6 and everyone ordered something different... all were bad. Went here because of the google reviews, so thought I’d try to help others not make the same mistake. The service and price were great, but they need to work on their flavour.

We were told that this particular restaurant was a staple in liverpool. We were recommended it by several people. My wife being an immigrant from China always likes to test the Chinese restaurants when we travel.I was really hopeful because of how proudly everyone spoke about this establishment. Unfortunately I was kind of disappointed. Normally when we go to a Chinese restaurant we asked specifically for the Chinese menu because it has more authentic Chinese items on it. Unfortunately, they didn't have one here and most of the Chinese food is the exact same thing you get that pretty much every other Chinese restaurant in the province.The price was reasonable, the location was very different from all of the other locations we've been to before. The food however, it did taste nice but it was just the same. We were really hoping for something different. Given the size of Liverpool it is no wonder that they don't have more options on the menu. There's just not enough people to support it.

Golden Pond Restaurant
Menu is combined with typical Chinese and Canadian entrees. Their selection of Chinese dishes is well rounded and delicious. The Moo Goo Guy Pan and Mushroom Egg Drop Soup is always a favorite for me at this restaurant. Careful, as the soup is always very hot in temperature.Sorry, but have never ordered a Canadian Dish at a Chinese Restaurant!
