Love this place first time eating the buffet was 15 years ago, and my work buddies and I would eat the lunch buffet at least 2 times a month. I moved away and my last stop before going back home up North I had to stop and get my Szechuan beef chicken balls and rice to take home.

I ordered from here tonight and the ginger beef looked like it was over cooked. It was black instead of the nice golden brown it should be. Also the chow mien was a combination of crispy and soft. Traditional chow mien is soft not crispy. Also when I called to complain the owner sat there and argued with me and my boyfriend. My boyfriend has 16 years of experience in cooking and NEVER has he heard of crispy chow mien like the lady had said. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

The guy was friendly but It was an unexpected surprise of how the food came out. Ordered a kung Po chicken and they came out entirely different than the traditional Kung Po. The traditional ones came out with chilli peppers but they did not have them in there because they guy said “We don’t put the peppers in there because white people don’t like that”. I was in shocked when he said it. This was my first ever time seeing a Chinese restaurant changing the way the serve their food. As I took a look around I realized this restaurant is just trying to survive is all I can tell. So it’s understandable that he tries to fit their taste with their customers. But that doesn’t mean you have to change your ingredients. The food was bland and some of the vegetables in it were old especially the corns.I personally don’t recommend eating here if you’re looking for a REAL Chinese Szechuan taste.

I came in at the lunch time buffet and wasn't impressed. The only thing i liked was the pork dumplings but i could tell this place was pretty cheap. The buffet trays are stocked minimally due to the lack of customers. Wonton soup was bland along with most of the food. Made it three plates before getting full as usual. Nothing really seems to want to taste good around here. I did notice the Chow Mein being salty for some reason. Some of the foods are typically greasy. There is Telus wifi here and they take debit/credit. They have Mandarin oranges, pineapple bits, pudding Jello and lemon tarts for dessert. The orange juice was not the syrup lol think it was just soaking in water. Despite the lemon tart falling apart in my hands it was ok. The staff was a nice guy from what i can tell. Noticed where the washroom was i think, looked like a swing door type. Overall i got fed but wasn't close to tasting good. This place is just looking to survive from what i can see. I would think the dinner menu might have some better items but personally i don't see it being worth it.

I’ve been a patron for many years and they never let me starve. Everything is exactly to the taste of an Edmonton Chinese dining experience. Thanks for being here! Yum yum and very affordable.

Always good service and fast delivery, has very good food for the price and all around good vibes even when you go into the restaurant. Been eating here for years and plan on to for many more to come.

My parents went here for YEARS, and we had family dinners here, I am always treated like family when I walked through the door, and the food was fresh, hot, and tasty! Thank you once again, Denis, for all your hard efforts in making so much food for everyone and creating such a warm atmosphere. ❤

I have been going to this restaurant for as long as I can remember and it is absolutely amazing! They have great food and treat you like family through every visit. It is absolutely impossible to not enjoy the food and atmosphere.
