Busy day at work in the hospitality industry..Hungry! Had a craving for Rainbow trout! I have been to Archie's on Huron and Highbury before. Absolutely spot on with the cooking of this delicious fish dinner. Choice of side, garlic or French bread...service is good!

Opening in mid 80's I still experienced outstanding food and great service. Best steamed fresh carrots & broccoli that did not come out of a bag to accompany their awesome fish.

Great weekend brunch buffet especially if you're a fish and chip lover. Brunch buffet includes their signature battered fish and all your favourite breakfast fixings. Visited many times staff are always friendly and buffet selection stocked and fresh.

Val was our waitress and she did a great job looking after 14 senior ladies for lunch. The food was hot and good. Everyone in our group loved their food dish. I would go back again.

Went to Archie's for the first meal out in 2017 and wasn't disappointed. I have been to the Wellington St location for breakfast many times but this is the first time I have been for dinner. There are a lot of items on the menu and if you're not a fish person Archie's still has lots to offer. Archie's recently got draft beer, I ordered a Coor's light and would suggest they turn the temperature of the keg cooler down a little as it was borderline warm.The Monday special caught my eye, Seaside Sampler: 1 piece battered Alaskan Pollock , 6 breaded shrimp, onion rings, garlic bread and dessert for $12.45. Talk about value and variety. The fish was good, the shrimp were fried just a little too much for my liking but the onion rings were amazing. My girlfriend was craving fish and chips and ordered the cod. She said it satisfied her craving. The service was good and the staff were friendly. There were only two servers working and the place was half full but we were still well taken care of. I would return and recommend Archie's for both dinner and breakfast.

Just bought 3 1 pc Pollock fish and chips and it hardly came with fries in all 3 boxes, was explained to me that they use bigger boxes but they are the same size, all happened because I didn't leave a big tip.

at about 3 25 pm today Sunday the 25,2021 I made an order one piece cod and chips which I picked up at about the 3 37 pm by the time I reached home I discovered that the fish was burned and the fries ware dray when I call to tell them about it the manger was not very stupid about it trying to say that he was not at fault I take it because it looked like he was the one that cooked it. when it comes to customer service or food quality this place is 0 on both counts
