Rock oasis is a great place to start for one who have never climbed as it has both bouldering, along with belay and auto belay traditional climbs.Right from the start I was impressed with how massive Rock Oasis is. It is spread out giving climbers a good amount of space. The different degrees of difficulty will challenge anyone from beginners to advanced. A good diversity of routes from the typical vertical to incline, to caves,Rock Oasis has a lot to offer and that’s just talking about bouldering.Over 6 routes of belay climbing and if you don’t have someone they still have auto belay available.I enjoyed the set aside area for stretching, foam rolling, and dynamic movement. Showers were a nice addition as most gyms I’ve climbed at don’t offer this and Rock Oasis is quite warm inside.4 stars considering many of the holds were past their prime. I had a lot of trouble on routes that should have been easy as many holds felt like wet grass. Along with older holds the heat didn’t help, which I’m glad I went to in the morning compared to later in the day. Getting to Rock Oasismade me feel like a mouse in a maze. After passing door after door in a long industrialized hallway I finally found the small Rock Oasis door after multiple times turning around saying “where am I?” Upon leaving I was again in that maze and had trouble finding the exit. If the building owner allows there should be signage added to help with directions.Overall worth visiting to get some climbing in yet if you want to take chances and go big this might not be the best place as often I didn’t feel comfortable in certain spots on how smooth and slick the holds were, which forced me to stick to easier/more comfortable routes. Even so thevariety of routes, staff, and other climbers were pleasant and helpful. Worth checking out at least once.

Climbing gym with bouldering, top rope routes, lead climbing and even auto belay routes. This gym has everything you technically need to have a great climbing session but there are a few setbacks: lack of a community feel, boring (or not innovative let’s say) setting and late morning opening hours. The gym is currently modernizing a bit which is bringing some very welcome freshness and cleanliness to the space. Desk staff is either very friendly or despondent depending on who is working. Pricing is very fair. Overall, good climbing gym but is missing the it factor for me.

Very interesting bouldering terrain with all the overhangs, especially the cave section. Holds seem really worn out and smooth from use, making everything more difficult. Uses a more traditional bouldering setting, so look elsewhere for more modern comp style (like The Hub).

The climbs are great, however the facility feels lacking. The bouldering area seems a bit cramped but it makes use if every space available so I can't complain. On the other hand, the parking situation is not great. There is currently no free/authorized parking next to the building and you'd need to find a spot elsewhere or risk being towed if you park next to their main entrance. I'd love to give this place 5 stars but can't justify it due to these small issues.

Awesome place to boulder! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Provide aid if you ever hurt yourself as well as providing things for free such as climbing tape or sterilized nail clips.Met some really cool people here too, I haven’t had one bad experience with other guest while climbing here! Highly recommend!

Good setters. Routes are challenging. I didn't have time to get a lead assessment done but next time I'm doing that for sure because they have a near horizontal cave for lead only. Some of the pictures I see online are quite old. They've repainted the place and added more lighting to brighten it up.They're now under the same ownership as Joe Rockhead's in Liberty Village and Up the Block Mississauga so one pass gives you access to all three gyms which is great value.

Do not come here after 4 pm on weekdays and definitely do not come after 7 pm for your own safetyIt is overrun with children who do not have any spatial awareness, the staff let them run around with no supervision, and it feels like a daycare in there.E.g. 10+ people/teens will be sitting right on the mats, in the middle of the climbing area like there's a house party going on, blocking climbers from climbing and falling safely. multiple times I've seen people centimetres away from getting kicked in the head because they are sitting right below climbers. The staff do not care about safety or crowd control. It gets stuffy and hot in here easily. The mats are worn down, and benches are dirty. They need to think about the safety of their climbers- yes, we signed a waiver and need to have our own spatial awareness but the classes" are getting out of control. We cannot control others' actions e.g a kid running directly beneath you while youre climbing. There's a broken ankle or concussion waiting to happen here. However if you come during off hours (school hours)

The people were spnnice and helpful in getting us adjusted for our first time. The palc eis pretty big and has a very chill atmosphere. Don't worry at all if it's your first time there, you will feel really comfortable. Also, if you wear two different sizes of shoes, they even accommodate that.

still good. still has some classic RO setting (prepare to get humbled), with some comp/modern" style mixed in. nice to see the gym invest in new holds and equipment. great staff. great kids area. lead climbing cave is the place to be. plan ahead for limited parking in the area as of Feb 2023 :( . you can lock your bike in the bike area (rear "garage door" entrance) so there is that. best thing is the people. many of the people I've climbed with at the gym are outdoor climbers

Top rope/belay ✔️Auto-belay ✔️Lead climbing ✔️Bouldering ✔️Parking ✔️Accessible by bus ✔️AC ✔️✖️Rates are on their website and priced pretty much the same as most other climbing gyms in GTA ~$25. A good selection of both bouldering and rope-climbing options. Complete with change rooms, lockers, and an area for children!Sadly the amount of parking will be reduced in the near future and annual passes will be seeing an increase in prices. Usually gets busy around 630pm til close on weekdays but before if you can make it in, you'll have the entire place to yourself.Weekends are normally busy from open until close, save for those lunch and dinner hours
