I just had to see for myself what all the fuss was about Irene's restaurant, and let me tell you, the rumours are true! The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, trendy, and spacious, with a breathtaking waterfront view. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting Irene with my husband for the second time, and once again, it was an exceptional experience.Fortunately, We snagged a lovely spot on the patio, offering panoramic views of the harbour front. As we settled in, we couldn't help but enjoy the picturesque surroundings. The drinks and appetizers were so delightful that we ran out of room for a main dish. This time, we savoured the incredibly tasty and fresh Irene Focaccia Bread. We also indulged in Sesame Ginger Calamari and the tantalizing Scallops & Charred Pineapple Ceviche for the second time. Moreover, the waitress had a fantastic suggestion of Fried Green Tomatoes with Whipped Goat Cheese. Paired with the exquisite Blueberry Lemonade Sangria and the refreshing Sunkissed Free Spirits, the combination of flavours and textures was divine.The fusion of delicious cuisine, great lake view, cool music, and great service made our experience unforgettable. We wholeheartedly appreciate the attentiveness and professionalism of the staff. Thank you once again for providing us with another extraordinary dining adventure.Revisiting my initial comment, we were pleasantly surprised by the array of excellent appetizers during our first early summer visit to Irene with my family. We savoured the smoked pork ribs, chilled oysters on the half shell, Mediterranean hummus, and the extraordinary Scallops & Charred Pineapple Ceviche. The cocktails and free spirit drinks, such as the refreshing Strawberry Lemon Mojito and the tropical Colada Sunrise, were a hit among everyone. As for the main dish, I highly recommend indulging in the heavenly AAA Steak frites with chimichurri - an absolute triumph for the palate. And to conclude our feast, we surrendered to the temptation of the decadent chocolate cake and the sticky cinnamon bun - both irresistibly delicious. The generous portions and quality left us utterly satisfied.As usual, the service was amazing, and we had a blast!

Great atmosphere and beautifully decorated large patio with lakefront view. We were served by Nas who was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Will definitely return!

Our waitstaff, Kelsey, provided exceptional service and the food was delicious. The manager Nas was also very hospitable and accommodating.This location is know for its gorgeous outside patio on the lake, but the newly renovated inside is absolutely gorgeous also and the wall of windows also provide a lovely view of the lake.

Omg!!!!! This is place is amazing! We came on a rainy day so we didn’t get to sit on the patio but the restaurant is so bright and had a lot of greenery inside and you feel as though you are outside. We had the fried green tomatoes and the traditional Benny. Both were fantabulous! The Benny was cooked to absolute perfection and the salad on the Benny was such a pleasant surprise. Our server Zach was great and willing to give us suggestions. We agree we would come back for the fried green tomatoes. Also what do you put on those potatoes? Fire!!! The drinks (ginger peach smash and bee keeper) were less than to be desired but drinkable and unique. 10/10 would come back!

Perfect spot for celebrating a birthday brunch with friends. Food, drinks and service were lovely. What a little gem to be located right by the water with a lively patio that is also dog friendly. Big shoutout to Jon for treating us to a complimentary Baked Alaska dessert. Overall, would recommend to check out this summer!

The food and vibe is great! Went with a group for lunch so we ordered a bunch of everything and were completely stuffed. Our top favourites were the ribs, hummus and fried chicken sandwich. Also got the calamari, salmon and tuna which were delish. For dessert, we had the cinnamon bun with whipped cream and it was so tasty! Can’t wait to come back in the summer to sit out on the patio overlooking the water.

The food was decent but was a bit on the pricier side, which we didn’t mind paying especially for the nice patio by the water. Maybe they were short staffed the day we went but the service on the patio was unfortunately very slow and it took quite a while to even get our orders in. They also have a cool dog menu that starts at $6 for a cooked dish for your pup. Our dog seemed to have really enjoyed it :) overall we’d go back, more for the lakeside patio than anything else.

We had a lovely time here, came in Canada Day! The server was really friendly and attentive! The food was good, I recommend that you come sit on the patio enjoy the view, the only thing we didn’t love was the truffle fries!

Best dining experience this year!! We were greeted with smiles and suggestions for appetizers and cocktails. This beautiful and bright restaurant is the perfect spot for lunch with colleagues or dinner with friends and family. The staff was so knowledgeable and provided amazing service. The Ribs and hummus were a table favorites for appetizers. You can't go wrong with any of the handhelds or Mains. I had the Salmon which was cooked to perfection. Desserts we're delicious. I had the chocolate cake. Definitely a must try for those who love chocolate. Next time I'm going to have the Baked Alaska. It looked like a work of art! Ready to visit again!!
