Installed a system that locks and prevents all entry when power is lost. Bills ~$600 minimum for a service call when this system loses power after 5pm. Didn't respond to emergency emails outside of business hours. Insists other companies are at fault for the system breaking. Takes weeks to resolve issues. Company sent multiple, increasingly pushy emails demanding personal justification of negative reviews and implied a moral duty to remove them. Horrifyingly unprofessional.Would rather be paying a neighborhood child to sit behind the door and demand daily passwords from us.

We've had great success with our new surveillance system. Its fully integrated with the controls on the rest of our process control system. Matt Borovoy, Boris and Ian were a great team to work with. Thanks, surveillance shop!

Got this equipment 3 1/2 years ago, supposedly bought the equipment that would do the job for us, recommended by Dean at the surveillance shop. Camera is out of focus or the wrong camera and could not get the thieves, facial or licence plate. Paid well in eccess of 10K for equipment. Called Dean after this incendent and he was quite nonchalant in his attitude and just said sorry about that, we can come up and do a service call and bill you for it. I also mentioned I possibly wanted to upgrade my system if this did not work for me. Well you be the judge if it works. No facial or plate on either of the two people and they were there waking around for about 20 minutes. What good is it to get a picture of someone stealing your property but cannot identify them. Dean is really good at selling you product but really poor after sale service. Probably have good product, Boris there installer and teck is excellent. Getting what you need, very poor.Since this has come up we have been in conversation with management to resolve this issue. Will keep you postedUpdate on our situation, Still trying to get the cameras installed properly. Finally the crew was here last week Thursday and Friday, but Friday was raining so could not get the outside camera,s finished, had to call this week to find out when they would finish and was told probably not this week, than Matt called back and said Thursday.With all the thefts going on right now it more important than ever that we have proper security up and running as to detour or catch the criminals.Surv Shop is taking there time to get this done for us. Always seems to be something delaying the situation. Think about this before ordering a system. We finally got everything looked after and it does work good, just had a real hassle getting the service. Boris, best rep they have and would give him 10 stars.

Horrible customer service. I called looking for a camera system and was told no one was available and that someone would call me back later the same day. No one called. I happened to be in the area later in the week and stopped into their showroom and again asked about a camera system and was told by the unpleasant girl at the front desk that so sales staff were available and that she would take my information, I declined and left. There are a lot of other businesses selling camera systems that are interested in customer service. I will spent my money elsewhere.

Great hardware (we have the motion-activated night-vision self-heated cameras). However, we have had to call the support team several times due to connectivity issues. A couple of times for my cell phone access to the cameras, and a few times for the home computer. Annoying, considering we dropped $8000 on this system.As well, we had one of our vehicles broken into in front of our house. It was all captured by the video cameras, but the resolution wasn't good enough for the Calgary Police services" to do anything about it.Smith & Wesson make better deterrents."

Gurmeet with the Surveillance Shop is excellent to work with. He is very friendly, always has a smile, good attitude and he is simply the best to work with. Surveillance shop has assisted a few of the condos that I work with, he's helped us setting up an easy to use camera system. Great people to work with and reasonable prices. Been very happy with the service they have given me.

Mr Curtis Dyck, President of The Surveillance Shop advertised a PWC on Kijiji . We emailed back and forth in regards to the hours & condition on the PWC . I travelled to Vernon BC to check out the PWC and at the time of my visit we did not agree on a purchased price on the PWC . Several days later I email Mr.Dyck an offer he replied that he would not accept the offer it was to low . Mr.Dyck, then after several days later emailed me a counter offer for the PWC based on Mr.Dyck delivering the PWC to Calgary. I agreed and accepted his offer, so Mr.Dyck stated he would have the PWC in Calgary on Sept 4/2017 He emailed me on Sept 4/2017 stating he did not feeling like delivering the PWC so had sold it to some else . Mr.Dyck after giving me his word that he would deliver the PWC to Calgary, he then turns around and sells it to someone else....this is so sad . Mr. Dyck, the President of The Surveillance Shop and also the president of Crime Stoppers is a blatant liar and his word has zero value . Future Buyers Beware.

As a local contractor, I couldn’t imagine going back to anyone else. Team leader Boris, was prompt, diligent and a master at the trade. I will continue to use this team on all future projects. Great job guys
