Love the area! Cottages are individually rented out. 20min away from Peterborough. Steps to the Lake. Shore is a little rocky but after a couple of steps, it becomes sandy. It's also a shallow shore. Lots of weeds in the lake. Wifi is a little glitchy and playground needs upgrading. The last time we were there last year, the playground had a wasps nest.. my daughter almost got bit.

Easy to get to . The cottages are nice and a little modern right on the lake good fishing thay do need a seporate fish cleaning fasilities. There is a nice launch nearby that you don't have to get your truck wet

Located on the northside of Rice Lake, 20 minutes south of Peterborough. Great place, individual cottages are owned and rented privatelyAll cottages are well maintained and spaciousLots of space, dog freindly with a field to play inShore is shallow and stoney and changes to sand, lots of dock space

This is by far the worst cottage we’ve ever rented! Was dirty when we walked in, had a falling apart picnic table, coffee machine had floaty things in it and bonus, one of the plates was put in the cupboards DIRTY!!! just gross. Also, the owner had told us he will provide dish soap and hand soap… bottles were empty upon our arrival and we had to buy some! And whenever we’d try and talk to the owner he’d turn around, say he doesn’t have time for this and walk away!!

Peaceful cottages by Rice lake, right by the lake but they lack privacy. Cottages are very close to one another. We went for a quiet get away and the group in the next cottage played music on a woofer on the deck which was disturbing.All amenities are good, the cottage was clean and maintained and had a huge living room with an open kitchen.

Friendly place and people. Cottage was modern, clean and on the lakeshore. View was fantastic.
