First time visitor, but long time area resident. The fish and chip restaurant near us had closed a while back and we were looking for a new place. We had tried a couple in our area but Halibut House will be our new go-to fish and chip restaurant! We were immediately greeted when we entered and had our take out ready in about 7 minutes. Well kept inside and very clean. Bright interior with an attractive decor. Halibut was a generous portion and cooked perfectly with plenty of chips that were super tasty!! Thank you for the great service and delicious food! You have a couple of new fans of your establishment. We’ll definitely return.

Very clean restaurant. Bright natural lighting. Spacious for family dining or get-togethers. There are bathrooms and television provided for your comfort while eating. Food is made fresh on a daily basis. Service is great and friendly. A very welcoming environment to eat brunch, lunch, or dinner. Food is delicious, home fries only and they always have a special.

My buddy and I arrived at 7:20 pm (see pic from inside the shop) and they refused to allow us dine-in, although there were 40 minutes to closing. And the best part... we CALLED 10 minutes before coming, they didnt tell us dine-in closes so early. Dont come to this place if you want to avoid disappointment.

Ordered the grilled fish from here and it was so disgustingly small for the price! The quality and quantity here gets worse and worse. Save your money and go to Jaspers fish and chips for better food

Used buy one halibut and chips, get 2nd half price. Food was decent, but portions seemed uniformly square shaped and suggest they're cooked from frozen. Decent amount of food and server was friendly. Very bright inside with no ambience, if you're thinking of a date spot consider elsewhere.

Staff were very kind and helpful the moment I walked in, ordered take out on site and got it within minutes. Crazy amazing service. The Restaurant is immaculate and spacious. The Greek Salad was super fresh as well. Definitely will stop by again.

My first time their! I was impressed on the cleanliness of the place. Seemed like the customers were dinning in were regular customers and they were sure loving it. I had to wait another 10 minutes until I got home to eat with the family. Needless to say it was a hard drive home...ha ha. We all loved it! It was perfect! Great job guys!

March 12/23. around noon.This review is about: Markham and Kingston Road LocationServer Winston was extremely rude, dismissive and top level argumentative. He does not listen and delivers what he wants then proceeds to argue with customers talking under his breath. We are a group of 6 friends that visit every week and spend over $150.00. He always appear to be in a bad mood and has no people skills. He walks away before the order is complete.Its not the first time he has done this but it is getting progressively worse each time. A number of other customers shared the same bad experiences about him.A total of 10 of us will no longer return because we don't want to have to deal with this individual any more.Cindy is extremely polite and it is always a pleasure when we do see her but unfortunately she is not there on the weekends. Too bad because she has great customer skills. Always a smile on her face.Hope that this situation can be rectified soon.Thank You
