Vancouver Eishin Ryu Iaido Club - Marpole Dojo
I have been practiced iaido at this place for two years. I liked the people here. They are so nice and awesome. Sensei (teacher) is awesome too!!! He's experienced and so nice to everyone. I really like Iaido and would like to continue to practice at this place.

Vancouver Eishin Ryu Iaido Club - Marpole Dojo
It has a wonderful space, plenty of free parking in the area, and great location. It has been an eye opening experience for me attending Iaido and I am so thankful to the students/teachers for a welcoming and enthusiastic experience. Highly recommend trying a class if you love katanas or want a deeper appreciation for Japanese culture.

I’ve been part of the dojo since January 2012 and continue to enjoy learning Iaido from Inoue Sensei and fellow students. It is a great place to learn and practice iaido and has always been welcoming to new students while holding to high standards of direct and unaltered transmission of iaido from one generation to the next. Top notch dojo. Anyone who wants to try out iaido is welcome!

I have been practicing iaido at this Dojo for a couple of months. At this place, you will not only learn Iaido Waza(techniques) but also have a chance to learn about Japanese culture and make new friends. Friendly people, they are thrilled to share iaido knowledge with you.

Vancouver Eishin Ryu Iaido Club - Marpole Dojo
UBC location is closer to me but I had the opportunity to drop in at Marpole a few times. Can find people with various experience which is very nice. From beginners to intermediate levels and then the folks who have been practicing for many years, it felt very easy to connect to the people at this dojo. Also at summer time there is air conditioning, which is a big bonus during heat waves.

I've been practicing here for many years - it's a good group and the people are friendly. The facility itself is good, lots of free parking too in the area.

Excellent club, everyone is very friendly, knowledgeable and very skilled.Facilities are great, there is lots of parking, the dojo is spacious, and the air conditioning is very welcome in the summer.

I've been with the club since 2006, great class, great group of people. I started at the UBC Dojo, but now primarily practice at the Marpole location simply because it's closer to home.

Very friendly club members here at Marpole. They are very accepting of new iaido trainees. I have been training here since April of 2022 and it has been a blast learning the ways of iaido. I would recommend this activity to anyone who would like to try out iaido.
