Cineplex Cinemas Orchard Plaza

Best cinema seating in the Okanagan. Wish the popcorn and pop was refillable like Landmark. I'll save this experience for special movies, but the cost of concession will always have me choose Landmark over Cineplex.

Older theatre. Sound is good, theatres are clean. The best part are the electric dual recliners. They are comfortable. Best place for a movie over 2 hours.

Overpriced compared to other theatres in town, I legit paid $15 less for the same thing, at a different theatre in town, the week before. The concessions are seriously lacking compared to other theatres and they don't offer refills or have the drink machines with all the options. A popcorn and drink cost more than the movie ticket. And the bathrooms are reminiscent of public parks with freezing cold water, taps you have to hold on (not accessible for people with disabilities), and no towels. Definitely go somewhere else over this place!

Ah, my dearest comrades, I must share with you my recent experience at the splendid Orchard Plaza Cineplex. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with the most courteous and hospitable staff, particularly the delightful Sofie who provided me with the most excellent service at the concession stand and assisted me in selecting the perfect tickets for my viewing pleasure.As I strolled through the theatre, I couldn't help but admire the grandeur of the décor and the luxurious seating arrangements. The screen was vast and immersive, and the sound was truly magnificent. The entire viewing experience was nothing short of magnificent, leaving me with a sense of awe and wonder I have seldom experienced before.Overall, my dearest friends, I implore you to visit the Orchard Plaza Cineplex at your earliest convenience, for it is a cinematic experience that is not to be missed. And do not forget to seek out the lovely Sophie, for she is a true gem amongst the staff and shall provide you with the utmost attention and care. Bravo, Cineplex, bravo indeed!

A lovely cinema. Only 1 thing: Why no air conditioning? Or at least, it’s too weak. Last time I almost got stuck to the seat.

Absolutely terrible customer service. They don't have the technology to change seating online, and they said on the phone they can simply just refund us so we could change seats. He canceled our seats and failed to tell us the refund wouldn't go through for 7 business days. So I said, Okay

Very dirty, smelly, and unkempt washrooms. Mentioned to staff who said they only clean at night. Large 3d screen, but sound was unbalanced, and couldn't hear some dialog. Nice reclining seats but full of popcorn, etc, between seats you have to dig through if you drop keys or phone. Gross experience.

Bought movie tickets online, paid with Scene points, all was smooth in that regard. Concession line went quick, was about as expensive as one would expect for a cinema concession stand. Popcorn was good. Drinks were good, cold and fizzy. Theater was well kept and clean. Lots of room all around the big comfy reclining seats, which also include cup holders. Bathrooms seemed a little outdated and in need of some TLC but otherwise it was a pretty fun night out to see the Super Mario Bros. Movie. We'll definitely go again should another movie peak our interests. Be smart, get to your movie early so as not to get caught in lines.

Nice seating for the movie.. bathroom was very smelly, they need automatic doors. No push button for anyone in a chair for the bathroom door ( currently on crutches). Also no paper towels so you are forced to use the handle to get out of the bathroom .. and by the smell of old pee in there, I would imagine no one wipes that handle during the regular cleaning :/ Going in you can push your way in, going out you have to pull on the handle. If it was the other way around it wouldn't be as awful.

Fantastic seats, but as of time of writing, unfortunately dim projectors. This isn’t all that bad if you’re watching a bright 2D movie, but a 3D movie really suffers from the low brightness projectors. It’s a big shame, since it’s otherwise quite a nice cinema
