Saffron Kabab Restaurant
Came here 2 times in the span of two weeks. The food is great and good value for what you get. We ordered the biggest family platter they had and it did not disappoint. You get a mix of rice, chicken , beef and lamb kabobs with grilled veggies.The only thing I was a bit shocked with was the portion of hummus, garlic and salad we got for 6-7 people. The plates for garlic dip and hummus were probably enough for 2 people but not for 7. Other than that, the overall experience was great and the food was delicious.

Came here and tried the chef's special. The lentil soup was quite tasty. The kebabs that came with it were all very delicious with interesting seasoning, and incredibly tender, especially the beef and chicken fillet. Huge portion of rice, and some cherries and oranges for dessert.Service was quite good, though we weren't sure if we had to go up and pay or not and couldn't see the cash from where we had been sitting.The atmosphere could have been better, it felt kind of like a cafe with the tables being numbered and the cash at the back, but it didn't feel like that kind of service necessarily suited the place as a whole. I get the sense they do a lot more take-out, as I believe the menu on the board at the front had many items that weren't on the menu they bring to the table.

We went to this restaurant thinking that this is similar to Mazbaan, Afghanistan restaurant. Turns out this is Persian restaurant. They served us with complimentary lentils soup before we even ordered our meal. Pita pie was simply amazing. This is must try.

I was expecting a little bit more... The small details need improvements..like the garlic dip you could barely taste the garlic... The bread was dry and cold... The rice lacked flavor....the BBQ was average...the price is fair and they offer soup with the food.. 3 stars and room for improvement..

Ordered from this restaurant last night. Shortly after receiving the food, I noticed it was not what I ordered. As I noticed this, I received a call from the restaurant, asking if I received the wrong order... and that they believed the skip delivery person grabbed the wrong package. The restaurant was closed, but they offered to bring a fresh and correct order to my house personally. They were quick and very polite. I would strongly recommend this restaurant for its service alone...but the food was also delicious. 10/10 would strongly recommend it!

Nice experience there. The food was delicious and the waitress really polite.Removed 1 star because we got a spoon which wasn’t clean but that they change immediately.I recommend it and in fact will go again another time to try their meat pie

The meal was absolutely fresh and cooked to perfection...finger liking tender chicken and beaf. The soup was delicious and salad as well. However, in terms of flavours, it lack a little je ne sais quoi" compared to other Persian restaurants I've tasted in the past. The place was very clean but atmosphere lacked

Carling location. Worst experience ever. If you can not fulfil you should not take order. We ordrred for Sultan Family. Chicken kabob is not even cooked. Taste is horrible. Beef was not marinated well. Service is respectless. Short staffed. Totally disappointed.

I've been going to the Bank Street location for years. It's one of my favourite restaurants in the city. Never once had an experience where the quality was compromised.My first time visiting the new Carling location and I was extremely satisfied. The did not change the quality at all. Everything was amazing and it was Canada Day and they were VERY busy. The service was quick and we all enjoyed the food so much. Keep up the great work!
