Dave and the staff at the London location are definitely 5 star. We are a non profit that house formerly homeless Veterans. They treat us fairly and most of all are always honest about availability, pricing and all aspects of our purchases. I recently went to the trafalgar st location to buy a bed, couch and dresser. A young lady named Tabatha helped me find everything i needed and was a absolute pleasure to deal with. She wasnt pushy as far as finding items i needed and she had a great sense of humor. She was absoulutely lovely to deal with. The prices were quite fair and the staff were awesome. I would definitely recommend going to this location. Ask for Tabetha and i guarantee you will be satisfied with the service she provides and the selection of merchandise

I would not recommend purchasing furniture from here and I highly do NOT recommend purchasing the warranty. I purchased a reclining sofa just over a year ago, and right after the 1 year mark a rip occurred on one of the recliners. At first I wasn't worried as I had purchased the add-on warranty. It quickly went downhill after that. I contacted the third party company in charge of the warranty through their online form. It said someone would reach out in 2-3 days. Two weeks later still nothing, so I phoned them. Apparently their system was down the day I contacted them, so they had me email them instead. A few days later they replied that the claim was rejected as the rip was unknown. The rip occurred from closing the recliner. I'm still in the process of writing back and forth with the service company to understand why they would help if I manually damaged the sofa by cutting it, but won't help in the case of the using the sofa properly. I reached out to Surplus to get help or see if money could be returned for what appears to be a useless warranty and to get a copy of the terms and conditions I never received, and I was told they wouldn't help, wouldn't send the terms, and to deal with the other company. It's unfortunate the lack of customer care and service. I will definitely be going to the competitors in the future. Please be aware if you're hoping for more.

I am the customer who bought the bed frame matrix desk here last month.I got a defective product here(Bed Frame). It was a defective product from the beginning no matter how much I continued to make it following the manual.I could understand it because it was a common case to be honest.But the problem was that I felt quite dissatisfied with their customer service when I wanted an exchange.They said I, the client, had a question, but their female staff finished the call first.I felt considerable rudeness.So I called again, but they didn't answer the phone on purpose.When you pressed the call 4 more times, they reluctantly got a male employee to answer the phone.I e-mailed them about the defective part of the product, but they didn't reply either.(Obviously, she told me she would reply on Thursday.) Finally, I asked the delivery company to cut the length of the support, so I am using the product after fixing it myself.I have never felt so bad since I lived in Canada for more than two years.The price of the defective product was almost $300, but I didn't get any reply.I am quite disappointed and write my first review in my life, hoping that there will be no other victims.It was not until today that I got a replacement for replacement. It's a relief that you replaced it, but please check it before selling it next time.

Semi truck deliveries entrance via Trafalgar to Oakland Ave. Go around back. Quick unloading ( they won't reseal trailer if you have split load ( another drop after) nice people.

I definitely would not recommend this store to anyone. I purchased a simple mattress protector and upon getting it home discovered that it was damaged (about 2-3 inches of stitching were missed during the manufacturing so there was a gaping hole around the zipper). We returned the item to the store the same day along with the receipt and the ? manager ? outright refused to exchange the item or refund our money. Infact he chose to argue with us as opposed to simply replacing the damaged item. There are too many other stores to shop at to put up with ignorant and disrespectful shop managers. Go ANYWHERE ELSE to purchase.
