recently purchased a park model trailer and had a couple of problems with it and the warranty department does not call you back with updates regarding the work that needs to be done....happy with the unit but bad customer service all around

I cant speak for the product they make but as a driver delivering here, they are fast and friendly. I'm sure their product is as good as their work ethic and professionalism. Note anybody delivering product from Elkhart, the dock you back into you'll need to lock your diffs to pull out. (Especially in winter)

I imagine it's a nice place to buy a home from; but considering the atmosphere within the plant and the upper management. worst place to work as the moral is down; you go on break only to hear people saying you'll hate it here and blah blah blah. got into an argument with an employee on the floor, the supervisor listened to his side of what happened; had enough info for himself" and didn't take my part in at all. lots of favoritism or a clicky group that you can't compete with; the golden children. supervisors can take ones opinion as they think it's their way or the highway. if you say something you're out of line and have an attitude when it's simply defense"

Well built unit BUT Northlander has a design issue. The smoke alarm is placed to code construction is to code. But with the short hallway from kitchen to bedroom it causes a dead air space.This makes the smoke alarm go off even with stove fan on several Windows open making it impossible to cook unless you place a fan in hallway. Northlander saying OH WELL everything is in codé. No Answer to problem. Left to our own ideas. Poor customer service. No Answer to our problem.

My husband and I had a modular home custom built by Northlander. The home was placed on location in June 2015. The fridge died 3 years later (June 2018), the hot water heater died in 2018 (December) and our dishwasher just died today (March 2021). I would have thought that Northlander installed NEW appliances in their modular homes, but that simply cannot be true based on our experience. We paid over $4,000.00 for 5 (brand new) appliances. Of note also is that our master bedroom, adjoining bathroom and laundry room are all FREEZING in the winter and I have to wonder if there is any insulation in the outside walls for those rooms. Too late to check once the house is on site without tearing the walls apart!!! There were other issues too (some taken care of, others we just didn't want to push as we were exhausted with the problems). Now, we're just waiting for the rest to fail. We are completely disappointed with the integrity level of Northlander Homes...if you are considering purchasing a modular home from this company, do NOT let them place their appliances in your homes...purchase your own. And investigate/report FULLY any and all concerns you have, to Northlander, before the warranty on the house is up. We would never buy one again.

Nice people. Helpful. Just put a deposit on our future park model. They helped us choose the right options for us.

We're new to trailer homes so we popped into the office for help. Although our trailer is not a Northlander these people went above and beyond to help us with our problem. I would definitely buy a Northlander product knowing they are generous with their time to help anyone. Thank-you for everything you did to help us yesterday.
