Grant's Tutoring

Grant has been one of the best teachers or my life and coming from a student that barely studied in high school achieving average marks I was worried about Calc 1500 in my first Semester. He made calculus easy. Surprisingly because of Grant Calculus was my favorite class - coming from a previous non math guy.

I purchased Grant’s study guide book for MATH 1500 and it made the concepts so much easier to understand. There’s also tons of practice questions that prepare you for exam questions. Highly recommend!

Grant was very accommodating and really tailored to my needs to throughly explain all of my math concepts.Math does not come easy to me, and I do not retain anything, and Grant patiently explained everything and ensured I understood the concepts throughly.Being a busy student and working at the same time as studying, Grant understood this and always accommodated to my schedule and moved things around to ensure I had weekly sessions with him.He also took the time to ensure he recorded each question he did on my assignments with me, so I could review them as well to further understand the concepts.Grant also always was available to respond to my messages outside of tutoring times and responded to my questions and helped me accordingly.Lastly, he also sent me multiple links with previous questions he did with other students so I had more examples to reference to and folders of extra questions and notes I reviewed on my own time. Literally can be reached at any time of day for some help…always patient, flexible - a must for anyone struggling with math at the University level! Approaches topics as a teacher - uses examples to solidify what he’s trying to help your with. Highly recommended!

Grant’s Tutoring Books for STAT1000 for The Univeristy of Manitoba was the only reason I accomplished an A. Before Grant’s books, I was struggling with the content and didn’t understand the way the professors explained things. With Grant, I found math easy for the first time in my life.You can buy these books at the U of Manitoba bookstore, or from Grant himself.I believe Grants books explains things to students in ways professors never would, and that makes these books absolutely worth it. He even records videos of solving problems. Grant also allows his students to message him on Whatsapp whenever they have questions which really comes in handy if you're stuck on a problem.
