Barrie is a great soccer club. The club puts a lot of effort into developing good players, athletes and people. Knowledgeable staff and coaches.

The amount of attention given to children and ensuring their safety as well as mental well-being during covid times is incredible! Excellent organization and leadership for Barrie and surrounding areas.

Based on my child’s experience - the house league program is completely dependent on the parent volunteer(s). There is no effort whatsoever to find a coach when there are no parents willing to volunteer.Very disappointed they did not attempt to hire a coach, considering all the registration money paid. This is my family’s first and last time with BSC. Never again.

The biggest and most established club in the simcoe region. The Barrie Soccer Club brings hard work and professionalism to the region, something that will help these kids grow as not only soccer players, but young adults. I have had the privileged of being surrounded by some amazing coaches through my time at the Barrie Soccer Club, thank you for everything you guys do!

Very disappointed in the way the club conducts its interaction , or lack of, with its players parents/guardians.Have sent complaint email as my kid was left with a no show coach day one of practice.. then thrown into a game 8 v 5… game only happens because another parent stepped in.Also, I have now been trying to contact them numerous times over two days and have had zero response….Very unprofessional conduct on clubs behalf as not even an email was sent out in regard to them not having a coach available..or an update as to why no coach showed up a whole 24 hours after the schedule d game… still waiting on it, but I highly doubt it’ll show up.imagine being a parent with an emergency…? You’d never get a hold of anyone…Waste of $200+ as uniforms are donated… balls also donated but club keeps the balls…Would not recommend for any parents looking for actual structured discipline sport.

How this place is still in businness is a testament to how poorly ran soccer clubs turn a profit through donations and there volunteers. Do not send your under 10's there, non stop soccer in wasaga is a much superior ran league. Doing actual soccer drills, skill training and professional coaching even for the young ones.

Very disappointed as they don't actually have a coach to train the beginners .They are completely reliable on volunteers .If you are lucky your kid will be in a team with good volunteer or else no learning just running .

Timbit Soccer has been a joke with the Barrie Soccer Club. I paid the same amount for my 4yr old that a parent with any child up to 17yrs old would with practice times, refs and a coach.Except my 4yr old’s team was left completely in the hands of 1 parent volunteer who was given an activity booklet with impossible activities for under 5yr olds. They had one hour every Saturday morning (11-12), sharing the field between 5 teams ... and Tim Hortons pays for the uniforms and the balls—so my $200, and the other 50ish parents’ $200 went to ... what? ... a team photo? (For those paying the home game, that’s a sweet $10,000 for 11 weeks of playing)And “Tim Hortons Day”? They pushed this group to 8:30am because the older ages have the field for the their wrap-up day.Sorry, Barrie Soccer Club. You might’ve wanted to do a little better for parents to continue with you ...

Experiences so far:- Supposedly, their office hours are Tuesdays & Wednesdays 9:30am to 4:30pm. Thursdays 11am to 7pm..But its rare when you get someone on the phone. Phone will go straight to voicemail most of the time, Plus there is an hour 1pm - 2pm where they do not pick up due to lunch.- fair enough, everyone needs to eat, but Emails are not really responded to, feels like you are ignored until enough parents complain and then they just send a mass email. Not really sure how to feel about the club, would be nice if the first point of contact would simply communicate better in terms of emails and picking up the clients calls.
