The green light pouring out of the stairwell windows of this building is gloriously eery. I like to imagine that if there were ever a malfunction, that they would turn to flashing red.

George Dickie Substation
Designed by renowned architect Ron Thom in modern architecture style. It was named after George Dickie, the master mechanic who switched Vancouver's transit buses from right hand drive to the left, also to electric. The elements haven't been too kind to the facade of building, some letterings are missing, but it is interesting to look at never the less.
