Just so everyone knows that hunting is open all seasons depending on the game! You should know that this area is a hunting zone and has been for over 60 years! So if you're coming up from the city don't look down on people carrying a rifle. You're in the bush and in Canada!!

It a wonderful trail. Serene. Quiet. A hidden Gem. Cant really walk off the trail as all the surroundings are fenced off. But a nice enjoyable walk.

good place for a walk with nature. Where you can go into the woods and have worry free discovery adventures. Except in hunting seasons.

The forest itself is pretty, quiet, and serene. The trail isn't maintained: there are numerous fallen trees. There are arrow signs to follow, but they are different colours and eventually lead you to Pete's Lane, where there is no clear way to go without trespassing. If I took a wrong turn, it's because there was no marker to indicate where I should have gone. This could be a very nice trail if it weren't neglected and if it had clear markings.

The Forest is great. Clean air, clear water and peaceful...right up to the point where some idiot decided to use the trail for dirt biking, even though the sign at the entrance clearly says: no motorcycles. At least the illiterate left quickly...

No one around, it was a monday afternoon. I was hoping for birds to feed but no chickadees. Found this small pond. Went past an area where I could hear peepers.

Invested with TICKS! The black legged ticks which transmit LYME DISEASE! Be very very careful. Deet unfortunately does not repel ticks! We found four ticks on our bed brought in on our clothes! They are there year round. Two others were on the inside gums of out dogs mouth. Avoid this trail whenever possible!!!
