Dirt and Gravel Motorcycle Adventures

So, a long awaited review for Neil and his adventures in Vancouver Island, Canada. Not entirely sure where to start. I've visited Neil this summer and I wasn't sure what to expect. I was asked whether I wish to ride through the windy roads and stay in the hotels, or whether I would be more interested to explore the island offroad and camp through the week. With the latter, the promise was to visit rural areas, see the island from different (not touristy) angle, ride lots of offroad and possibly see some wild animals - a lifetime opportunity. I went for a second option and gosh it was one of the best journeys I've ever experienced. On top of fantastic views, superb tracks, great KTM 1090r bike, tasty beer and sausages cooked on a stick - Neil was a fantastic companion, which I am happy to call my friend. I think this last point is extremely important when you take on an adventure like this. I would.. can..actually I am highly recommending Neil and his adventures! Thank you, buddy!P.s. I went to a Lita's motorcycle maintenance get together for lady riders. Learned WAY more than I ever expected to. Very knowledgeable on how to maintain/fix your bike! Very kind owners of this company. I would feel super safe going on a long bike trip with Neil (one of the owners). Neil is super thorough on his teaching and very organized. I was VERY impressed!! These pictures are from the portion of the learning session where we got to learn how simple it is to change the oil!

I did the six day Vancouver Island trip in mid-September, Neil was a fantastic guide and we covered far more ground than I expected too. I am experience road and off road rider and Neil selected the routes to be challenging and rewarding. I have visited Vancouver Island several times before but, on this trip I visited parts of the island that are inaccessible with normal vehicles.I have completed off-road tours around Europe and Africa, this trip is up there with all of them but excels in the beauty off the countryside and wild life you see during your tour. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Neil and I have already recommended this trip to many of my biking friends.
