It’s great to have your expectations substantially exceeded. Jake & Humphreys was a wonderful experience in a humble ambience.Christine & Tiffany do an exceptionally fine job looking after their guests. The service is as good as it comes anywhere. We were pleased that they stock the Stratford distilled Junction 56 vodka.The menu is limited so every patron is served fresh outstanding meals. The liver which I had was the finest I’ve had in a long time. My partner was very pleased with her lamb. The deserts are made in house including the ice cream. Don’t skip desert when you’re at this fine restaurant.We will return to this great little restaurant frequently.

The food was decent. The service was horrible. Christine, our waitress who also claims to manage this restaurant, was rude, disrespectful and could not be bothered to smile as my 84 year old grandmother complimented the food. We have had the misfortune of having her as our waitress before and noticed the same behaviour. We thought maybe she was having a bad day, but this was our second attempt with the same experience. Someone in customer service should be a little more polite and personable, let alone someone in a management position. We will not be visiting again, nor promoting this local restaurant

I was adventurous enough to try new things. Our starter was their in house breads. I ordered Pan-Fried Baby Beef Liver and Rhubarb cold soup with Lavender/mint ice cream. My friend had the three egg frittata. Not bad - the liver didnt have strong liver"taste."

Really good food in a very casual atmosphere. Interesting wine choices, food prepared to fine dining standards and friendly service. All good.Update: My first foray into the world post Covid, and I enjoyed the whole experience.

Fabulous meal!!!Even in these strange and trying times of COVID you guys pulled off an amazing meal!Having to offer only take out these days, it must be tough to ensure that your amazing culinary skills don’t get scorned because of the food having to ride in a car for how ever long to get to someone’s table. We are lucky to live less than five minutes away, so our food was hot and fresh. The paper containers are such a good idea to keep everything from getting soggy. My wife and I had our 20th anniversary meal from Jake and Humphreys and it was amazing!! I had the steak, my wife had the beef ribs....soooooo tender!!! The veggies are cooked to absolute perfection!! The shrimp!!? Aaaamazing!!!! The julienned salad that came with the shrimp appetizer reminded me of my favourite avacodo salad at our favourite sushi place. Sesame oil and soya ??? Such a great flavour!!! Keep supporting local everyone! We need to keep these gems in our village!!!

This was my first time going to Jake and Humphreys and it did not disappoint. I got the chicken sandwich which was delicious. As well as the price and portion size were excellent. My 2 coworkers also enjoyed there food and beverages. The service was excellent. I will definitely be returning and recommending.

Awesome food and service. We enjoyed the Curry Salmon and Stuffed Pork Chop ( cheese and mushrooms). The veggies were prepared perfectly. We heard the desert list but will wait till our next visit.

We had a wonderful dinner last night for my husband's birthday. Our son and daughter-in-law joined us and our 7 month old grandson. They were very accommodating and were able to provide a highchair. Thank you Janet for making a delicious birthday cake. We will definitely return again.

Without question, soup to nuts, 5 star dining experience. Sorry allow me to clarify 5 diamonds; right down to restroom linen hand towels. Say no more. $122.00 for two with a 1/2 litre of wine. Value to boot. Will most definitely return.

Friends and us went there for an early dinner at 4:30. Seemed like it was an inconvenience for the server. The Whole time we felt like we were an inconvenience for her. Each couple spent $130 plus tip. Only reason for the tip was the because the food was delicious. Unfortunately won't be back to spend another $150 with a server like that.
