South Calgary Outdoor Pool
Love this place! A hidden jem! Spent a lot of my childhood at SCOP and now I'm bringing my kids! The bathrooms were pretty bad today (july7) and they could use another garbage or two. But the pool and atmosphere is great.

Pool is nice and clean. Heated water. I went when it was almosr 30 degrees celsius. I would not ho if it is less than 25 or overcast. It could be cold... facilities are outdated. Need renovation asap. Food and drinks menu are extremely limited. Only accept cash. Not enough beach chairs or umbrellas. As I said the pool itself is really nice. The facilities requiered TLC. Advice. Bring your own everything.

The place is very small .They always have some kind of inconvenient .Every pool is open and they keep it closed for whatever reason .Young people managing the club and you never get a serious answer.

Online says it's open today till 8pm.Arrived at 5pm and pool is empty, can't exactly swim without water!No one answered the phone either.My kids were very disappointed

Newly renovated for 2022 with splash features in the shallow end. A lot more family friendly than it was previously with more shallow play space. Buy tickets ahead online if you don't want to be disappointed. The afternoon sessions fill up fast and there's only ~30 walk up spots.Bring any chairs/sun shelter you need as none is provided, though lots of shade is available on the south side of the pool and even the splash section is mostly shaded by 2pm.

Great pool for hot sunny days. Being outdoor, be sure to have sun screen. Some shade, but not tons. No food or drink available, bring your own. Toasty water.

My daughter and I had a relaxing afternoon in the pool. It was not crawded, and the facility was clean. The staff were friendly, too. It is a very affordable place for families and swimmers to enjoy. We will definitely go more often.

I just love outdoor pools. This one is dated, the locker room does not seem particularly clean, but it has the concession, some grass, chaises lounges, a small beater slide. Nice place to swim lanes in the morning as the water is cooler than in indoor pools. Kids classes are smaller than in indoor pools. Great place to meet other parents with younger kids.

Quite a big fan, a large body of water and on a nice summer day you can expect a decently packed pool. A nice spot and well trained staff.
