Water Babies

My son is 9 months old and loving lessons so far! Our instructor is attentive and very engaging.

We’ve been with Waterbabies North York since my daughter was about 9 months old. She loves her swim lessons and is always excited to attend classes. It is a great bonding experience for both my daughter and husband. The classes are fun and teaches skills that keep the tods safe in water. Instructors are professional and they’ve kept good communications with us throughout the pandemic/lockdown. We are super excited to be back this summer!

The 30 mins classes are jam packed with activity. You switch from learning one skill to the next, and each skill is accompanied by a song or rhyme which makes it more fun. For more complex skills, we practice them one or two at a time and then receive feedback from Felicia. Felicia is patient and understanding, and a great teacher. The only thing is I found the pool a bit cold for my LO for a couple of the lessons, but I like that it's a salt water pool.

Great courses and friendly staff. My son is 21 months’ old and he’s scared water at the first class, but the teacher Felicia was very patient and kindly gave me some suggestion, so my little one started learning in the pool very soon. Only not that satisfied is their changing room is not warm enough, so we have to changing clothing for the baby very quickly.

We took a semester with “water babies” when my son turned 4 months. It was really fun and we learned lots of exercises in the water step by step. Developmental songs and play were introduced in the water. Instructions were clear and encouraging. My son’ s physical abilities developed really well and his strength of muscles as well. He is 12 months now and a very capable boy in terms of movement and climbing. We took classes at Yonge village pool, facility is good, salt water pool. Program organizers followed all necessary covid precautions for everybody to feel safe and comfortable.I like the program and will be returning summer semester, hope for reopening!

Great swimming class for my little one. He started the 0-9 months class when he was four months old. The instructor is well trained. The class ratio is 1:8 in my class. They use salt water in the swimming pool, so it is safe for babies.
