We got married at the Armstrong Estate on a beautiful May day! My husband and I did the ceremony only package and I could not recommend it enough!! Gabrielle was very helpful even from our initial email inquiry. The Armstrong Estate is Ottawa’s hidden gem in terms of having beautiful elopement ceremony on a budget! Her vision is astounding and has a great eye for creating the perfect setup. Gabrielle went above and beyond and even surprised us with a few things including personalized wedding guest favours cookies which was so thoughtful. Will be recommending the Armstrong Estate to everyone who would like an intimate space yet having a luxury feel!

The Armstrong Estate was the perfect venue for our intimate wedding. Gabrielle was given full creative control and she exceeded our expectations. Every single detail and vendor needed was included in our package which meant we had zero stress planning our wedding. Gabrielle took care of everything. The vendors that were hired were also amazing and helped make our day perfect. We booked our wedding at The Armstrong Estate 6 months before our big day and the entire time Gabrielle kept us updated and would promptly respond to any questions we would have. She was so easy to work with and we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding coordinator/designer/planner/venue.We were looking for a rustic elegant venue and found the perfect hidden gem. The Armstrong Estate has multiple backdrops to host the ceremony. We chose the meadow and were so happy with how everything turned out especially our photos! We had most of our group and bride/groom photos done behind the house and against the barn. Both locations we choose captured the theme we had planned. You can not go wrong taking photos at any spot on the property, the entire venue is beautiful.The day of our wedding Gabrielle had help from her sister and husband, both were so friendly and wanted to make our day better. Our day was perfect thanks to Gabrielle and her family. It was better than we could have ever imagined.All that being said the day of our wedding was perfect. All of our boxes had been checked and we couldn’t have asked for anything more!

On October 14th 2020 we had the most incredible day of our lives celebrating our wedding/elopement at the beautiful Armstrong Estate in Spencerville, Ontario.Our day was made entirely possible by the hard work and dedication of Gabrielle and her team at the Estate. Their passion was felt in all aspects of the day, from the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, we felt welcomed, attended to, and surrounded by kindness.The venue itself is a combination of the beautiful stone house that provided us with a large unique space to get ready and take amazing pictures, and the surrounding property which is quiet and serene, and had all our guests exploring and enjoying the beautiful fall day. Our ceremony was held in the forest surrounded by maples, which created an intimate and romantic setting to exchange our vows, while our cocktail hour held on the grounds behind the house, provided a more open and free space to wander and converse. We really enjoyed having the two separate spaces on the property and each was equally as stunning.The food provided and styled by Flexitarian nutrition, was absolutely amazing. The presentation alone was outstanding, but the selection of fresh, organic, and local ingredients used to create a sweet and savory spread, truly provided something for everyone, all while taking into account our dietary restrictions and intolerances.Our day of coordinator and wedding planner Gabrielle, is truly a joy to work with. From the first day of initial planning, to the wedding day itself, Gabrielle was responsive, organized, and made the whole process stress free and enjoyable. She is so full of passion and talent, and it came across in all things she did, from designing and building of a beautiful ceremony space and custom arch, to the tiniest details, she truly took care of everything. When Covid restrictions altered our timeline just 24 hours before our wedding, Gabrielle tackled it head on and I am so happy that when Gabrielle said “trust me” we did just that. Not only did she go above and beyond any of our expectations, she truly amazed us. We were personally touched to see her sharing in the joy and excitement of our wedding day with us.The curated team of vendors from hair & makeup, to photography, music, and florals worked together seamlessly to provide us with an unforgettable experience. Their professionalism and genuine joy to be a part of our day, was noticed by all, and I was so happy to see the vendors engaging with our guests and each other, and it created for a really pleasant environment.We can’t say enough about this beautiful venue and the team involved. We were absolutely blown away at the attention to detail, and the pure elegance of our day. Our guests were absolutely amazed at how well they were treated, and told us that it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to.Our day was unforgettable, and truly the wedding of our dreams. On June 17th I married my best friend at the Armstrong estate. I opted for the pop up elopement package. Gabrielle was quick to respond to any question or concern I had and was truly my own little wedding planner fairy. Everything was so easy. The most beautiful and elegant day. I had 3 small children under 4 and she was more than accommodating. She gave me the wedding of my dreams and an experience I’ll never forget. Not only was the property breathtaking and gorgeous. The vendors were all so helpful and kind. The price for the package is extremely reasonable for the quality and a stress free experience 10/10.

I loved being at the Armstrong Estate! What a beautiful place inside and out. Gabrielle really cares about all the details and puts in all the work necessary for a complete experience. The food was also amazing!

We cannot recommend The Armstrong Estate enough! Gabrielle and her team made every effort to ensure our elopement was special, magical and tailored to us. She shared in our joy and excitement every step of the way. We chose a True Elopement style where multiple couples were to marry on the same day (spaced apart so they wouldn’t overlap) - and it was perfect! Even though we were doing a “package” type wedding (where the cake, flowers, photographer, videographer etc were chosen for us) - everything had a degree of customisation that made our wedding perfect for us. Gabrielle took our style and vision into consideration when presenting different options. It rained on our wedding day and she made every effort to make sure that we could still have an outdoor ceremony. Our elopement was romantic, intimate and everything we ever dreamed it would be. I highly recommend The Armstrong Estate!

My husband and I had our intimate wedding ceremony at the Armstrong estate in April and our experience with Gabrielle and her team exceeded all our expectations.We reached out to Gabrielle approximately six months before our wedding and after a few emails back and forth we were sold. Despite living in BC not once did we have any issue with communication. All our emails and inquires were addressed promptly. The whole planning process felt extremely easy and stress free.We were very happy to leave creative control for the most part up to Gabrielle and her vendors. We loved the idea of not knowing exactly what to expect with regards to flowers, backdrop, cake, tableware, etc. To say we were blown away by the detail and effort that went into making our day so special would be an understatement.The day itself couldn’t have ran more smoothly. Other than showing up to the venue there was nothing my husband, myself or guests had to do. Everything was completely taken care of which made for a very stress free day.I am so incredibly happy we chose the Armstrong Estate for our wedding and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to experience an intimate wedding that doesn’t cut any corners and has a wide variety of packages to chose from. Overall this was a five star experience and our special day felt extremely magical.
