Wow. Just wow. Kouign amann was buttery, flaky, and just sweet enough. But the Apple turnover, chef’s kiss. The inside was more of a mix between a sauce and jam.

I really respect the experts who are good at doing laminated dough and baking puff pastries for years. Unfortunately, we arrived at 13:15 so I didn’t get the signature Kouign-Amann. Friendly service. I had an almond croissant and an almond chocolatine. They were at good quality, crispy and a good taste of butter. The almond filling was not too sweet and rich flavor.

One of the best pastries I’ve had. Fresh and delicious. Tastes like a cheese croissant with caramelized honey on top. This is top tier, definitely recommend.

I made a special trip here after reading the NYT article about it. I arrived not long after noon, expecting most of the goodies (especially the titular Kouing Amann) to be sold out. But no! Not busy, and I scored a medium-sized kouing amann pie! So good! Also scored some croissants. I will be back!

They make the best croissants and pastries in town. Also, their special Amamm pastry is incredibly delicious. They're selling everything they bake. Everything is super fresh and as sweet as it should be. You'll be sorry if you don't try this place! It's worth waiting in the line!

Absolutely delicious! The only thing I regret is not getting more! Pastries can be re-heated to guarantee that perfect crunchy and flakey texture so if you live far or had to line up, make sure to get enough for a whole week.

The croissant here is great - flaky, buttery and light. We also had a plum pastry which was fantastic, sweet and crunchy. The espresso was piping hot and paired nicely with the pastry.None of that really matters compared to the crown jewel, the eponymous Kouign Amann. It’s a buttery, rich, chewy pastry wrapped in a sublime sweet, sticky, and slightly salty glaze that combine to form one of the finest food experiences I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying. A must try.
