I just had the most amazing five star experience at SoleFit at my gait analysis and footwear assessment appointment. Ryan is so thorough and experienced and knowledgeable. He was able to help me improve my sports performance by focusing on a few easy ways I could improve my exercises and provide feedback on my running style. He has this really cool slow motion camera treadmill setup that shows me exact what is going on in vivid detail. I cannot wait to get my orthotics!

From the start, Ryan was attentive and knowledgeable. I've been wearing orthotics my whole life and going to a new doctor was intimidating. He made me feel calm with his wealth of experience and seemed to understand what I needed.He was not pushy, gave great advice, and listened to my feedback. The result was a new pair of daily orthotics that fitted me like a glove and supported me better. Went back for a second pair for my ski boots - they really make custom inserts for any shoe type! Second to none experience!As a non-runner with shin, foot and hip issues looking to increase mobility and eventually run again I could not have felt more welcomed, comfortable and accommodated for. Ryan was swift to understand my goals and alongside making custom moulds and completing a gait analysis he enabled me to understand how our plan to meet these goals would work.I received great holistic advice as well as being educated specifically on my issues and the intricacies of how my road to recovery would look.Ryan is a great practitioner and I would not hesitate to recommend him and look forward to making my own progress with him in my corner.

I can't recommend SoleFit enough. After a year of bouncing around different physios, specialists and S&C coaches, Ryan diagnosed my issue in a one-hour session and prescribed a simple but effective return-to-running plan. He took the time to listen to my personal experience of the injury, rather than considering only external factors. Afterward we kept in contact as I provided progress updates, and he recommended further tweaks to the plan based on the injury's reaction. Six months on, I'm almost back in PB shape and running more volume/intensity than ever. Ryan is a wealth of endurance sport knowledge!

SoleFit has provided the absolute best orthotics experience I have ever had. I have had orthotics made from 3 other companies, before finding SoleFit, and those were very transactional but the team at SoleFit has made the orthotics experience very positive and personal.First and foremost, I have to mention the honesty and expertise of Ryan and the SoleFit team. My mother went to get orthotics from them but, instead of simply charging her and making the orthotics, after the gait analysis they told her that she did not actually need them and offered strength and positioning exercises so that she could build back her strength instead of being forced to rely on orthotics forever. Thanks to that interaction, and my experiences with Ryan, I know that the work that they do at SoleFit, and any recommendations they give have my best interests at heart. Ryan even remembered a lot about me when I came after 2 years for a second pair.I have had two pairs of orthotics made over the past few years. The gait analysis and thorough history meant that the orthotics were close to a perfect fit from the outset, and the final adjustments it took very little work. They are around the same price that you find at most other orthotics producers but there are some additional things that you get as a SoleFit customer. You have a year after receiving the orthotics to get free adjustments to ensure they are the right balance of comfortable and helpful. I went back in and had the covering changed on mine to provide different levels of cushion vs grip, and once to fix minor wear patches that I accidentally caused, all of which were done, no questions asked. They also do the work entirely on site, so my orthotics were ready in about a week and all adjustments are done on the spot, ensuring you can have several things fixed, incrementally, in a single adjustment appointment.For insurance coverage, the documentation that SoleFit provides, along with a doctor’s note, satisfied plans from BlueCross, Desjardins, and SunLife.
